Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He was an opportunist, an opportunist too, but at least he was honest about what he was; blood traitor, con artist and a collector of debts. He knew that of which he was, that of whom he was born and that of which was expected from him - sometimes he cursed such things but most days he embraced them. Today, he had simply tossed them aside for the mere pleasure of companionship - he smelt Diveen on the petite girl, a pack he held no quarrels with and the other smelt of nothing more than the trees and stones, a loner. There was nothing to gain, not really, and nothing that needed to be known so for once, he allowed his guard to slowly lower, the walls becoming transparent rather than opaque. Of course, he would not deny any bait thrown his way if it came.

He stood as patient as ever, eyeing the two with a mild curiosity before the girl spoke - she brought a gentle chuckle from his chest, a rounded grin moving across his features. They were one of the same in that case - friends were seldom found, after all, but perhaps he had not been looking in the correct places. He could not deny that some small part of him desired friendship and even a smaller part hoped that dark tunnels at night is where you found them.

"Do not fret, I haven't quite made friends in the short time I've been down in this dank cave, either, though it certainly is a pleasure to make your acquaintances," he spoke easily, an off handed attempt at small humor, his narrows shoulder shrugged before his gaze lazily moved towards Heartless, a brow sliding up expectantly though he retained that same calm smile. Impeccable manners is the first thing he discovers about the male and he is... pleased, really. It seemed no matter how much mothers and fathers attempted to drill such manner, such eloquence, into their children, it often fell on deaf ears or simply swooped over their heads as a swallow would.

Had he thought he would have found two minds in the caves, two minds surprisingly not so dull? Of course not but now that he had, he was ecstatic (of course, such ecstasy was merely shown with a brief wave of his tail and charming smile, no more.)

As Heartless sunk back onto his haunches, Tesseract gave a stout nod to both before falling back onto his own; thick tail coiled over his paws, his body nestling back into comfort. His ears swiveled towards Heartless, his head turning so that he may keep a steady eye on the both as he listened keenly, even nodding once or twice to show his attentiveness. New blood, fresh meat, whatever you wanted to call it. In the past it would have been an indirect challenge, a challenge to see who could lure the newcomer to either Diveen or Iromar but not anymore. Tesseract cared not for Iromar nor petty pack feuds but he was most curios of what news, what fantastic stories, a newcomer could bring. Moladion had always lacked... culture, really, or perhaps a culture worth knowing. Angels? Demons? Bah - outdated hog wash.

"New to the lands? How are you finding them thus far? I've been told they are quite unique, but I'd love to hear the opinion straight from the source," his face lit up into a broader grin, his eyes wide with fascination for a moment before he composed himself. After all, he was still quite young, susceptible to excitement at times.

"As for myself, my mate and I live not so far from here so I enjoy a perimeter check or two from time to time. I have to keep the nasties away, you see."

He winked, casually to both with another hint of laughter before his gaze fell back onto Fathom once more, head tilted atop its axis.

"Correct me if I am wrong but have you come from Diveen? You don't smell of bog or salt so I am thinking it must be the Angel Queen's pack."

He his no intentions, simple curiosity. They were an odd bunch in the dark, that he knew, one of a pack, one a loner and one entirely knew of the world of Moladion. It would be interesting to say the least, so long as he could keep the flow of words in constant motion. Apparently he had chosen a good night - he could practically hear the social beast within him purring.
