At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

‘Though I can’t help with the stress your memories cause you, I can remind you that Channing obviously cares for you. I’ve said before that she’s raised you, something she doesn’t regret if she continued to do that. What is it that makes you think you’re going to lose her?’ The brute shook his head slowly – uncertain on how he could answer that question. He knew the answer but it meant breaking his mask of his optimism of the future. “I guess… Oh I don’t know! It’s like two different scenarios.” The titan explained. “One scenario is him hurting her – in any way kind of way and then the second scenario is I guess more likely… She moves on with her life; pups and all… I wouldn’t be in her life anymore. Ugh. I know I’m selfish.” Terrel sighed, a grim creased of an expression presenting itself upon his mandible. The brute’s eyes had trailed down, no long wishing to dwell on his subject of depression. Terrel stifled a small groan and retreated to a topic that had twitched his curiosity – the humble fragrance of shrubberies. It presented itself quite nicely. He was glad of the opportunity of the subject change.

Terrel listened with attentiveness as she explained the lesson had undertaken as a part of her responsibilities. She had been teaching herbs, which sent envy trailing through his bodice but he managed to force it back with the reminder to not be so selfish especially since of a new lesson gave him hope. Herbs were a skill he had always yearned to master. ‘There were only three of us present when I left, and she didn’t cover anywhere near the amount of plants I know grow in the territory, let alone around the forest. Perhaps we can ask her to hold another lesson sometime.’ Terrel nodded with a wan smile of his kissers.

The multi coloured titan had nudged Mae’s muzzle, and smiled faintly as she returned the gesture with a small nudge. Terrel had ducked his head to drink; the cool liquid seeping down the roughness of his throat. ‘I’m glad spring is here.’ The soft voice pondered. His head retreated towards the head. He nodded in agreement. “I’m glad too.” The boy approved, “especially since the sun is out and shining, flowers blooming – all that happy stuff.”

Terrel sniffed the air. “And summer is just around the corner.”
