Thanks to Jim for bringing the sled, track, and for posting the results. Good to see the Rod Father still posting. As for the sled, things happen and we still put on a great show. What we decided for the Open class that we did not have the chance to run, we refunded the money, no points were awarded and the added purse money that was allocated for the class was divided evenly to the pulling units that were registered for the class. Therefore, all points averages are correct and those who did bring there Open went home with something to show for their time and effort.

Overall, this was a pull that was destined to have something go slightly difficult or wrong. We had been moved two times and I found myself with the Scandinavian Days coordinator at midnight the night before the pull arranging a site for the Saturday pull. We ended up in a great spot, had more money added to the purse due to the situation, rain held off longer than expected...great pull. thank you to all who pulled in Story City.
