During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Devil looked to him out the corner of her eye, trying to read his expression the best she could so she could know where she stood. The shock wasn’t expected but it gave her hope as she felt Serris studying her. Soon she turned her gaze completely away again as she explained everything to him and now just waited while wondering what was going through his mind. Seeing movement caused her chocolate orbs to glance back at him as his tower turned in the direction of the mountains she had just traveled from. A sigh escaped her when she saw his anger and could only place it to the one who attacked her. Not worth it and it would be no use. A waste of time as far as she was concerned at this point because she had already gone through that anger earlier. There was silence, and more silence, after she finished speaking about why she was gone, but she wasn’t nervous anymore. Surely after she explained what happened Serris was going to welcome her home. However it seemed like the beast before her was lost in thought and she didn’t dare distract him at the moment. Not when her chance of remaining as a member of Munashii Gekko hung in the balance. The lass could understand why he was being cautious and questioned her absence.

Devil listened to the growl and sigh in silence, just glad that neither seemed to be aimed at her. Soul gates observed the King carefully as he moved toward her and the black and white omega remained completely still. Normally, in circumstances like this, she would have turned her gaze away but she couldn’t as he lowered the front part of his form beside her. When she realized he was offering himself as a crutch she had to force herself not to shake her head. Her pride wasn’t going to get her anywhere in this case. Now a sigh left her as she moved her pillars to a standing position. Her limbs had grown a bit stiff but she was going to force herself on anyways. I joined a pack knowing that there would be care and help offered by the members. Never did I expect to need that help myself. The words were spoken in a soft tone, and she didn’t know if it was more to herself or just to break the silence. Devil’s Angel walked beside Serris but she barely put any of her weight upon him, there were some things that will never change. Charcoal colored twin towers flicked forward as his vocals broke the air as they traveled. Hearing that Kobato was gone caused one of her steps to falter but she soon regained her normal movement. Well, as normal as possible with her injuries. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Was her only response to the blaming Kobato part. Devil believed that it had to be there in the first place to come out. The demoness was dying to know what happened to the joyful youngster but she didn’t push her alpha, he would tell her if he wanted to.

He brought up a new subject and warned that there was much change in her absence. This worried her briefly until he continued on. There were always new faces but what brought her guard up was that Serris didn’t trust them. That made her nervous and she glanced at him then, wondering if he was implying anything further. We’ll weed out the ones who need to go soon enough. She said, reverting back to her loyal pack member role immediately. A giggle escaped her, just for a short moment, as Serris mentioned his opinion of the name Aindreas. Yes, that would be a sight. Her words were in remark to the comment of boring him, these joking comments reminding her of the normal Serris. It seemed that they had another loyal wolf at least, and that was something to be optimistic about. Devil was intrigued and found herself interested in meeting quite a few of these new faces. Her alpha soon continued on with his words, and she found it a little old that he kept speaking. The wolfess couldn’t quite remember when he done that before, if he had. Of course she didn’t complain or show dislike of it, hearing about the newcomers would help her later on and was keeping her distracted from the pain. The worst was her bruised hip and sprained forelimb. A soft sound left her vocals as she laughed again as he called himself an old man. It was nice to laugh so much in such a short time for a change. Her mood had lightened considerably since the border. Yes, I’m sure the young ones will call you old now. They will believe you too slow to catch them for their disrespect. Her soul gates looked to him briefly when he said they had a unknown wolf at the border from Aurora Borealis. It didn’t bode well with her when he added that he left the brute be for awhile and that he was still here. If the omega had been up to it she would have suggested herself going just to keep an eye on the stranger. There was that name again, Kobato. Where was the lass at and why had she disappeared? Devil didn’t give a response as she allowed herself to become lost in her own thoughts for a little while.

Serris was acting odd though and when she noticed this again, she continued to glance at him, unsure if she should question him. Finally though she decided it couldn’t hurt, besides something seemed to be bothering him. Devil halted in her steps and turned her head to look at Serris, her chocolate soul gates searching his mask for clues. A moment later she started to walk again, her pace steady once again, but the determined look on her mask was gone. Serris, what are you really thinking? She questioned the alpha as she kept her gaze ahead, knowing that the guy didn’t ramble and that something had to be bugging him. Hiding under that ebony cloak of his and festering inside of him.
