News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

I WILL SMASH THE DOOR-POSTS
IP: 74.109.122.252

If thou openest not the gate to let me enter,
I will break the door, I will wrench the lock,
I will smash the door-posts, I will force the doors.
I will bring up the dead to eat the living.
And the dead will outnumber the living.

She watches them quietly, an amused smirk on her face as they look about confused. It would seem that this branch of Angels had been poorly educated about the ways of Demons. Ah well, let them stay in the dark until the dark calls for them. She would not teach them the ways of the Demonic. Why betray her hand of cards? She watches them carefully. It was Isola who interested her the most, but she knew that Azrael was the one that should be paid attention to. Baphomet had made a mistake in taking a pregnant wolf. Had she not been so heavily pregnant herself, she may have confronted him about it and returned Andromeda herself. It was against the code and while the Angels may think them lawless cannibals, the Demons thought themselves civilized. They adhered to the natural code. Eat or be eaten.

Her eyes only flick towards Andras but her muzzle leans towards him, her voice quiet and clearly only meant for Andras to hear. "Tranquillitas, hospes, faucibus sit exaudiam de dilaniant ante." The time would come to tear out their throats, but this was not the time. She kept her fellow demons at bay, smirking as Lillith shouts out the command to tell the others exactly what they should already be doing. She hears her son, twitching an ear back to hear him settle nearby. It was good that he was still here. She had much to teach her children, and while Jezebeth and Limoira seemed to believe that they had figured out much by themselves, she knew that boys matured slower and thus needed a little more of a guiding hand. It's a pity that Azrael clearly did not get the added instruction. Saqr smelt of blood but it was clearly that of an alligators and not his own, any wolf with half a nose could decipher it out. She was proud that he had killed for himself, and that the alligators that had taken her beloved Baphomet.

She watched as they spoke between themselves. She could not hear it per say but it was said that the Angels of Moladion were taught the Old Tongue first before the common one and Ishtar could only suspect on what they were speaking. Baphomet had not wanted to give away that they knew the Old as well as the New, but Baphomet was dead now and Ishtar did not like the idea of them thinking they could speak in tongues and not be deciphered. She smirked ever so briefly before putting on an act that even Baphomet would of been surprised at. Her demeanor changes and she softens. "Angelus reginam, it is good of you to come to our borders. I am indeed Ishtar, Queen of Iromar." She speaks to her like a friend with a tone of laughter just beyond the words spoken. Though whether she was laughing with or at Isola was unclear. Although with a perfect accent and with no stumbling the Old Tongue slips briefly from her lips. This was your warning Isola, that which you think you say in private may no longer be so...private.

She listens as she introduces the others that she had brought along with her, her yellow-gold eyes washing over them in silent evaluation. If it was a show of strength she wanted to present, then perhaps Isola should of choosen wolves more like Azrael and less like the two young girls that flanked her. Ishtar would of never choosen the likes of that to flank her. Even her own daughters would of been secondary to Lillith and Andras. "This is Andras, Lillith and one of my sons, Saqr." She returns the common courtesy of introduction, after all, she was not ashamed of the wolves that have gathered around her. Her face hardens though. If Isola thought that she could gain favor by playing on Ishtar's grief then she had another thing coming to her. Ishtar was the Blood Mouth, the Queen of Ishtar, the Mother of Demons. She did not give into her own emotions so easily as to influence the decisions for her empire.

Yet Isola clarifies why she has come and yet the hardness to Ishtar's features does not ebb back into the softness first displayed. She watches Isola, discerning that Isola was a Queen first and foremost. Ah, it had been awhile since she had had an enemy worth their salt. She glances towards Andras for a moment, and then to Lillith. She knew that there answers would be no but Ishtar was painfully aware that they had no numbers to defeat the Angels. Skills, yes. But it would also need the brute force of those that would fight with them. She gave looks to Andras, purposeful that they would speak on the matter quietly later and then to Lillith promising to explain her actions. "You are correct. I am not my mate. I am not the Demon King. But I am the Blood Mouth and as such I am more skilled in the ways of war than that of politics. Still, I will agree to your little treaty until a time that it no longer suits my interests or those of Iromar. Be warned though, Angelus, that my wrath is great when wronged and that we will show no mercy save for the pups and the pregnant if that comes to be." She educates them, that Demons had their own code to stick to, and that they were not such savage brutes as they would like to think. They may not have the sheer numbers that Diveen did, but that did not mean that they could not be just as deadly.

Ishtar then looks at them, disinterest in her eyes as she allows her gaze to wash over them. "If that is all, Isola, then I believe this meeting is adjurned and that you should go back home to your Diveen. There are dangerous creatures in my swamps, I would not want you to get hurt." Of course she was referencing the alligators....mostly. Ishtar would convene with Andras, Lillith and Saqr when this was finished. With the agreement not to steal from Diveen, there was only one way to gain the knowledge and convert those that wished to be saved from an artificial life. Talk with them, befriend them. Hell, winter was coming, breed to them if they Fell. She had promised Isola not to steal, and she wouldn't. But she did not promise Isola anything else, and would not stop the mission that Baphomet had set forth. And when their numbers swelled, as she was sure that they would, Ishtar would strike and they would see what Demons were made of.

ISHTAR.

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
