Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

I couldn’t help but stare as I backed away, I was too sore for a fight, though I would if it came down to it. I was very used to the bite of others fangs, could try to ignore the pain, probably better than most like Amir could, I wouldn’t last though, I would have to do enough to deter him then run as fast as I could. If I got caught by him that was. I was feeling pretty good about myself as I slowly moved away, taking small steps back, but I wasn’t as stealthy as I had thought I was, or had I been? The brute’s words were not unkind, but he had a deep sterness not unlike Kane’s sounded, someone who was not cruel but not to be trifled with. Had he not been trained he wouldn’t have detected me, he had said, well that was slightly perturbing though I couldn’t help but feel a little pride I could at least see that he was skilled. I stood up straight, knowing I was found there was no reason to try and run and hide, plus, he didn’t sound angry.

I watched him with my stunning teal eyes, my white tipped tail flicking at my heels, curious, somehow this brute made me think of… Me. I was challenging, only because I was used to others hurting me, I didn’t want them to think I was afraid of them, it was getting better though, I relaxed more and didn’t think I was going to fight everyone I ran into, though I still somewhat expected too. He turned to face me and I was shocked to see the large scar on his face and the torn ears. What had happened to him? I couldn’t help but thinking this, wondering if that was what I would look like if I continued to stay at my old home. It was impressive, but unnerving all at the same time.

”Trained how?” I asked, my youthful tones clearly curious for I was trained but I certainly could not detect someone like he had just done. If he could do it, so couldn’t I. I wasn’t trying to be rude by dodging pleasantries, but youthful inquisitiveness had taken over. This brute didn’t look too old, but it was clear he was an adult. I wanted to ask him what had happened, the look in his eyes… It was so much like my own… I wanted to fight to keep people away, to become stronger and ward off others from coming to close. Maybe we were similar, he certainly looked tough, and I’m certain those battle scars would be enough to deter many creatures, was it bad that I wanted those scars? They were like badges of honor and strength, that’s what I always thought.
