Heyel’s compliments are received graciously by Alcide, and he replies amiably to the invitation for her to one day visit Diveen. “I am sure she would love to some day visit the City of Angels, we will be certain to take up your offer when she is old enough to venture so far.” Besides feeding Dany’s already obvious sense of adventure, it would be in good taste to pay a visit to their only ally and thank them for their loyalty to Spirane. Alcide rolled ideas through his mind on how he could repay the gift that Heyel had brought with him today. Surely something would come to him before the time presented itself. When he mentions visiting Amaterasu before departing the peaks of Spirane Alcide simply nodded in agreeance. Heyel, and any member of Diveen for that matter, was welcome within Spirane whenever they need be. Certainly it would only bring happiness for a daughter to be visited by her father. He thought of Orca then, out there roaming the lands of Moladion with the gypsies. Soon he would have to track her down and make sure she was living a full and happy life. He missed his first daughter every day, even if he did not outwardly express it. Shifting his weight, his shoulders rolling back as he allowed his weight to rebalance, dark eyes watch Heyel with interest, inquisitive as to what – beyond the pleasantry of blessing another’s offspring’s birth – had brought him to their doorstep that morning. As he expressed his concerns, a single brow rose in concern. He was aware of the disturbances that roiled within the fog of Iromar, that the wolves that headed up the pack there had coined themselves as Demons. The unbalance between Iromar and Diveen had become known throughout Moladion, but this news that they were personally targeting Heyel’s kin put Alcide’s heart in a state of unrest. Four wolves of his blood resided within Spirane, and Alcide’s own son – estranged as he was – was imprint and mate to one of them. And so it was easy to say that the mountain king did not take this warning lightly. “I shall heed your request personally, and forewarn those that need know of it. Calista is protected by mine own son – Swallowbane. Regardless I shall ensure that a watchful eye is kept out for these wolves of Iromar. If they dare try to take any of them from Spirane’s safety they shall not be met kindly.” His words were firm and truthful – he was a man of his word. It seemed that this was all Heyel had to bring to him and Moonglow, but as their conversation had come to pass a thought had occurred to Alcide. After a few moments, allowing the gravitation of his words to sink in with the white wolf, Alcide spoke again. “I have my own request, a bit more official if you will. Spirane’s numbers are small, and though we do our best to protect our borders we lack trained warriors to guard the populace. My son, Sleekwing, seeks to improve his abilities in combat. I know your ranks are littered with capable soldiers. If he was to travel to Diveen, would there be someone willing to mentor him?” It was a big ask, as Alcide was sure Diveen’s warriors had other business to attend to than training another pack’s military. But it had to the potential to show the true bond between Diveen and Spirane. Perhaps there would be someone he in turn would like to send back to Spirane to train beneath MoonGlow as a healer.  |

Scion - The Successor: The Abhorsen's heir, training to one day fill her paw prints. This wolf must become adept in multiple trades. This wolf is expected to become proficient in healing, fighting, hunting, diplomacy, and thievery. They are expected to lend assistance to any of the other ranks if ever needed. The Bells Dyrim - The Speaker: Lead diplomat and is often times sent out to maintain good relations with allied packs. Charged with educating the Ambassadors in diplomatic ways. Astarael - The Weeper: The commander and lead warrior of the pack. Charged with teaching the Berserkers the art of battle. Clayr - The Seer: Charged with the pack's health, and in teaching the Shiners and those who wish to pursue the art of healing. Kibeth - The Walker: The leader of the Guard. They are the foremost line of defense, charged with securing the borders and bringing pertinent information from within and without the pack to the appropriate wolf. They also lead the Outriders. Ranna - The Sleeper: Assists the queen in guarding from theft as well as advising her of news and gossip from the whole of Moladion. Charged with teaching the Mages about theft, secret keeping, and overall sneakiness. Allowed to make and block steals. Mosrael - The Waker: Caretaker and storyteller of the pack, also the head pupsitter. Often times this wolf will look after the pack's youth and educate them of Spirane and Moladion's history. Leads the Remembrancers in pup watching. Charter - The Power: The master hunter of the pack. Leads and organizes all hunts and teaches the Falconers the art of the hunt. The Classes Berserkers: Warriors and hunters of the pack. Falconers: The pack hunters Mages: Thieves and secret keepers of the pack. Allowed to make and block steals. Ambassadors: Diplomats of the pack. Shiners: Healers of the pack. Outriders: The pack scouts who bring all news of happenings across Moladion back. Remembrancers: Wolves of a kind nature who look after the younger wolves of the pack. These wolves may wish to learn more about healing, but this is not a requirement. Bairns: The young pups of the pack Amateurs: Youth of the pack still finding their place Kinfolk: The general populance of the pack Elders: Respected retirees who still offer wisdom and insight |
