Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

Parent Stats
* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

Pup 1 - Takes After Both
Male
Eyes- A light blue, just like mom

Coat Color: His base coat is a smooth midnight black, and this is most prominant on his face, chest, front legs gathering around the paws, and right hind leg. A brindle of dark grey, lights grey, white, and tiny bit of black covers the rest of the body, including cheeks, ears, neck, back shoulder, left leg, and tail. Where the brindling comes in contact He is going to be very, very striking to look at. Reference Here

Coat Type: Long and soft, especially around the neck and chest. His tail will also have rather long fur, and the fur around his spine can get rather fluffy in the winter. His fur will have nice shine to it, highlighting his brindle features.

Height/Weight: 35 inches/ 150lbs

Body Type: He will have long legs and a very steady frame. He is built similar to his father but on a smaller scale. He will have heavy muscle thickly laid in all around his body. He will be strong and powerful, but will have a long stride due to his well built legs. He will have a broad chest and will be able to endure quite a bit. He will be a very well rounded boy leaning on the side of raw power.

Healthy

Pup 2 - Take After Silvertongue
Female
Eyes: A stunning rusty orange, simple but beautiful.

Coat Color: Her base coat is a creamy grey, A brindle of dark grey, light grey, and white appear on her back starting past the shoulder and continuing past her tail, where it fades to black at the tail tip in a thick manner. The brindle fades as it reaches her neck, but it is still wonderful to look at. A light grey touches her belly and her face. Reference Here

Coat Type: Her fur will be shorter than her brothers, but still on the longer side. It is long on the hind legs and tail, while being shorter on her front side. Her hair will be a bit more coarse than her brothers, but still beautiful all the same.

Height./Weight: 36 inches/ 125lbs

Body Type: She is taller than her older brother, but weighs less. She is built more for speed with her extra height being on her legs. She will have a smooth run and still have enough muscle to keep her strong. Her mother gave her feminine features in the face and hips.

Unhealthy- Stillborn. Sorry guys :(

Mother's Health: 7/10. The birth goes smoothly until the last pup, who will take a little bit longer and more effort to get out. There will be some vaginal tearing with the birth of the second pup, and you will be very tired after the birth. After a good week, you should be healed up but a little sore. Having a mate/pack to help you will ensure you do well and recover with no problems.
