HiDE FROM YOUR FAMiLY
Dimitri was out of touch in so many ways. He’d forgotten how to interact, and maybe that was the most dangerous thing of all. The man simply sits and waits, he watches softly as the creature snarls at him. In so many ways, the creature is nothing other than childlike. Innocence where there shouldn’t be any simply paints over his face, and he watches as the creature raises his hackles. Though Dimitri never submits, he also never moves from his spot. No forward, no backward, no bristling. Rainbow eyes still sit brightly in his skull, and they’re soft… gentle.
Gentle to the cold, even. He bristles and shifts, but Dimitri still doesn’t move. “We have drifters here… gypsies. Have you met them?” It’s not entirely on topic, but the creature has never been a master conversationalist. He’s always been a little odd, too, and maybe that helps. The illusionist watches the strange man with his odd gaze, Technicolor eyes soft. Sure, there’s displeasure, but he longs so badly to not be alone. More than anything, he wants to keep away from being alone. When he’s alone things go bad… when things go bad he loses control. Dimitri scares himself when he loses control. He doesn’t want to scare himself anymore.
So he stays.
