News - SUMMER
Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.
Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.
We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.
As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

He feel the wind flowing throughout his bones, filling every fiber of his muscle as he breathes, in and out and in and out, the cold sea air clinging to his lungs but giving him life all the same. His was not wearied from their journey to the edge, from their paws hitting earth as they became one with the wind that carried on if they were with it or not. No, he felt revitalized with his run with Moth, and he knew then that the stars had willed them to meet again, to enjoy a small moment together and to heal under the dim light of the silvered moon. Yojimbo was enthralled to stand the edge of the cliff, with Moth by his side in her own journey to, just maybe, find something in herself that she had lost, but Yojimbo knew, it was always there. All along, many things were always inside of us. We are the ones who control our fate, our destiny, and sometimes all one needed was a little push. Yojimbo may have brought Moth to view the celestial touched sky and the shining beams of light that reflected off the other worldly ocean before them, but it was not Yojimbo that gave Moth a push, no, it was Moth herself.
As Yojimbo's deep and stunning voice rang out, filling the world around them with song, he did not expect what the lady Moth would do next. It seems that, Moth was indeed listening to the call of the ocean, and the call of her own heart. The darkened male lowered his muzzle, silver-rimmed eyes of blue shifting to see the older female coil her muscles and leap. It was a sight to see, one that silenced the male as he watched the wolfess, the Moth with wings invisible, have a moment of freedom. A moment many dare not take, where one is away from safety of Earth, and is instead, free of all constraints in the air. Moth was floating, Moth was flying, and Moth was free. She was beautiful really, as the silver moon shimmered on her pelt in mid-air. He could swear, that wings of the Moth had spread, glowing in the invisible wind of the night in her momentary bliss.
But nothing was forever, and this we all know. Moth fell into the ocean, her body crashing was the waves of water and salt. It was as if she fell into a pool of gems and diamonds, with the sparkles flying all about. His eyes of light blue kept watch to see the splendid display, before lifting his dark muzzle again, for a second song special for her. It was short, and it was sweet, for Yojimbo's own four legs shot backwards, his dark frame revving back. With a few steps and leap of his own, Yojimbo threw himself into the air, his song still in full force as the air was all that was in contact with his current frame. The moon illuminated him from behind, casting a glow of silver around him as he crashed into the sea. His song had faded into the depths of the ocean as his head burst out of the waves, soaked in the ever living water of the ocean.
He felt the current of the ocean and he could swear, that it has a life force of its own. How could a thing be so powerful, and yet be lifeless? It was not. It was alive and thriving as it pushed again his body at full force. Yojimbo swam with relative ease, knowing to go with the waves and not to fight them. He followed the path that Moth took, the water becoming more shallow as he came closer to the beach until he could stand on all four legs again. He stood tall, his face calm and serene as it always was, his blue eyes catching that of Moth upon the sand. He could feel a wave crash against his backside, his own body parting the sea in the illumination the moon gave. He was still, for but a moment, enjoying feeling the tide go in and our around his paws, before he slowly stepped forward towards Moth.
It was winter, and thus, the grip of cold was strong upon the earth during this time. Yojimbo felt the call of the ocean towards her, the sparkles of water making glitter upon the sand where she stood. They called to him, yes, just as the stars did. The cold was swirling around her and it, too, infiltrated the depths of his pelt. Yojimbo stepped upon the water until he was upon the beach, shaking off the wetness of his pelt and scattering what looks to be stars all about the sky. Calmly, he steps to Moth, seeing the chatter of her teeth and knowing that, in reality, it wasn't wise to be wet like this in the winter. The dark male of night comes to stand next to her, offering her to share the warmth of their bodies on this cold, wet night. He lightly touches her shoulder with his, though he wishes not to be invasive, only inviting if she wishes. His head turns to her, and he allows a small, rare smile to touch his features.
"It is you, who listened to the call around you. It is you, who followed your heart. Within yourself, is everything you need. Remember this, Moth."
He stood, near to her, looking away and out upon the moonlit world around them. The sand was softer up ahead, dry and likely much more comfortable. He turns back to her, an inquisitive look upon his features.
"The winter has brought cold upon us. Do you wish to lay with me up ahead? To be warmer, would be wise, or if you wish, I can escort you back, to your den."
He knew not what Moth would want to do, and he wanted not to pressure her. Yojimbo was more a creature of the night than others tended to be, and he would enjoy laying in the sands of the ocean, listening to the songs of the sky play with the tunes of the water. Oh how their symphony was candy to the eyes. If Moth wished to join him, he would be glad to have her company longer, but he would understand, if she wished to return home and get some rest. he stood still and silent next to her, awaiting her answer on if they stay or if he escorts her back home.
