Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

A blissful smile caressed my cream lips. This were certainly looking up for me, and for the pack. We were most definitely getting our share of visitors. Some looking for a home, others friendly encounters with other packs. All in all, the sun was shining down on me. The thought of those pups still made me feel light as a feather. The way they looked at me, completely caught up in me. The way they made me feel like a pup again. It was truly wonderful. These thoughts plastered a grin on my face as I stretched my legs. Perhaps other wolves would go hunting to get their exercise for the day. Me? Well I preferred to hone my reflexes at the same time. I tore through the thick trees, weaving skillfully between the trunks. I dodged and leaped, ignoring as stray branches snagged and ripped clumps of my lustrous coat from my skin. The pain never had much bothered me. It was always a near welcome sensation. My workout brought scents of the boarder to my nostrils and I picked up that of a visitor accompanied by Blaze. That female would quickly work up the ranks, just as I had. She was a hard worker and almost always on the scene to welcome new wolves. I raced to meet up with the two, suddenly craving some company. They came into view soon enough and I slowed to a peppy trot, saying nothing until I had come to a stop a few feet away from them. I gave a quick, almost indifferent, dip of my head to Blaze. My banner had raised itself to show my Gamma position and now flicked to let Blaze know I had it from here. Obviously. After all, she was only an Omega. My duo toned soul holders rounded on the female. I had managed to pick up the name Kika as I approached. Still wordless, I let my orbs slowly look her over. She seemed to be quite the perky one. Once the silence had stretched on for almost too long, I parted my maw. My name is Venga and I am the third in command here in Bright Moon. You come to us seeking a home, no? Tell me, Kika, why have you chosen Bright Moon for this? It was funny how I could sometimes be so friendly and other times I could be businesslike down to being nearly hostile. In any case, normal was never something I claimed to be. I stood statue still awaiting the female's reply. My mismatched gaze never once quavered from her. It was a challenge as well as a question.

words.
