Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Ex has always been stunningly quiet when he moves. He’s stealth personified, after all. He’s graceful too, cutting through the world around his on gentle feet. They’re wonderful, his feet are. Everything is wonderful. The young man, with his gleamingly gaudy eyes, can’t settle for anything less. Nothing less. Never less. He focuses and refocuses in the quiet darkness, and it takes him a minute to realize that he’s gone too far. Again. Damn it all, again.

The young man reaches out to his sister, a soft lick to her forehead. He forgets sometimes that he can’t yell at her. He forgets sometimes how fragile she is, and that gets him into trouble. Trouble, with Roach, is bad. She doesn’t do well with trouble, and she doesn’t handle things like your average bear. His sister isn’t the average bear. “I shouldn’t have yelled—I was just worried, okay? Don’t wander off like that when I say I’ll be right back.” He’s gentler now, attention flipping between his sister and the creature that had appeared in the darkness. “I know you’re sorry… just don’t let it happen again.” Just as quickly as it started, it’s over. Ex sighs, shaking his head and turning his gaze back onto the stranger.

His focus is strange, and it seems to constantly shift. The man was constantly hyperaware, and in a place as well travelled as this one it was hard not to be. Everything was strange and wonderful, and it sent his heart aflutter. Everything was rushing and pounding away, the blood in his veins making sounds in his ears. He could hear everything, feel everything in the whole of the forest. It was in the whole of the universe even. Right. Focusing, focusing. “What do you call yourself, stranger?” She hadn’t spoken yet, and that was slightly unsettling. When was Ex ever settled?
