Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

Parent Stats
* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

Pup 1 - Takes After Alice
Female
Eyes- A light lilac haloed in orange.

Coat Color: This girl's base colour is the same creamy beige of her mother and for the most part, this is her only colour. There is flecking of various greys over her neck and back, with the colours concerntrating around her shoulders and at her tail. She also has a black mask thanks to her father; this mask encompasses her muzzle, eyes and some of her cheeks. It is almost a heart-shape and flecked with cinnamon throughout.

Coat Type: Average length and thickness throughout.

Height/Weight: 40 inches / 155lbs

Body Type: She is a little shorter than her mother and a little lighter built but nonetheless, they could easily be mistaken for sisters. She is stocky with relatively short, thick legs and a heavily build body. She as a broad chest and very square build with strong shoulders; her father is her saving grace. Thanks to her father, she has a narrower waist that just pulls her away from looking like a male. She is build for speed and endurance but will find it difficult to keep up with faster wolves.

Healthy

Pup 2 - Takes after both
Male
Eyes: His eyes are a startling red flecked with burnt orange.

Coat Color: His base colour is black like his father, for the most part at least. Over the top of his head is a dark grey which continues down over his neck, spine and sides. It is grizzled with black, and there is a concerntration of black hairs between his shoulders that tapers out mid way down his back. His ears are still black. His top jaw is marked by the same dark cinnamon his father has that tapers out mid way up his muzzle and is found, too, at the tip of his tail. His undersides, including his neck, are a creamy beige. Reference here.

Coat Type: Average length and thickness though a little thicker over his neck and back.

Height/Weight: 42 inches / 160 lbs

Body Type: He is a big boy, tall and powerful. Thanks to his father, he has quite long legs and strong, athletic shoulders. His mother's strength shines through, too, and gives him and exceptionally masculine build - broad chest, square and straight posture and thick muscles. He is a powerhouse, given only a small portion of his father's speed though he retains quite a regal appearance about him thanks to his leggy-ness. He may not be the fastest wolf but he will hold his own but undoubtedly strength is his to own.

Healthy

Mother's Health: 4/10. With the sheer size of the pups, this birth will be long, exhausting and may span up to a day. This is just the start, however, and sadly you will experience anemia for some months to come. You will be tired and generally ill feeling and will need to rely on a pack, imprint or mate to help feed you and your children during this time. Though weakened, this birth goes quite smoothly and you should recover by the end of spring if you take care of yourself.
