Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

It was a duller day than usual. It wasn’t cloudy or rainy, just one of those days where a wolf would rather curl up into a den and sleep off their tired. Something that would require energy would be perfect to build up the energy to not take a nap. Medium built paws padded on the ground. Usually, an audette or two would flicker within the branches of the trees. However, this lupine was walking in daylight. She was used to the dark more than the light, which again made it unusual; another symptom of the off-day feel. Her jet black pelt soaked up the light like a sponge, and yet, the vixen didn’t find it annoying at all. She was warm today, puffing out her pelt to gather in the sun and the heat. A bird flew over her head, reminding her of the growing hunger inside of her stomach. She hadn’t eaten anything in a long time, and she was beginning to feel fatigued and needed to rebuild her energy. Of course, she couldn’t do anything but eat a snack or two, because her pack was coming up with a pack hunt for some of the pups, and she had offered her role to help.

The fae lifted her head at the bottom of Rainbow Cliff. Had she ever been here before? She didn’t! For almost a two years being in Blossom Forest, and she had never gone to Rainbow Cliff. Well... She smiled, glad that she could be taking the journey up the mountain in the daytime. Again, something was naturally amiss today, and the vixen couldn’t help but not wander somewhere she had never been before. She wondered if her mate, Glitch had been here before either, but soon dismissed the thought and began her journey up the rise. She jumped from one large rock up to another, and started her climb. The sun drifted behind a cloud, providing in a slight darkness that would soon vanish entirely. Her mind was elsewhere as she began to climb up the slope, thinking of nothing as she simply let her body do all of the work. She inhaled, taking a deep breath and loving the scent of the forest and rock engulf her. It was wonderful, and she had begun to experience a new kind of love from the sun.

Speaking of her pack, the fae had noticed it had begun to grow. From when Kalgalath had first been voted as a leader, their pack total was five. Growing from five to twelve, the vixen had always been proud of Kal. She moved up the next jump, landing gracefully onto the rock above her, sending a stream of rock and grubble down to the ground. The ess flickered an ear before walking up a gentle slope towards the top. Coming from the slope, there was a round circle around the rest of the mountain that provided in a nice rest area. She inhaled, scenting the breeze and feeling the nice mountain air on her pelt. Her amber orbs closed, letting the scents of the rock fill her. She opened her eyes once more, scenting two females close by. Realizing that the ess had not talked to many in a long while, she traveled forward to greet them.

She noticed that one was large like her, white and facing the sky like a cloud. The other was a maned wolf, or a Kalik if you went by the breed. She knew that the king and queen of Cold Summers were these such wolves, but she had never seen once in real person. She heard them talking, and after they finished their tiny conversation, she made herself known. Sitting farther away from the two but still within conversation range, she greeted them. “Hello.” It wasn’t much, but it was still a greeting, and she looked out into the land beyond.
