During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

ooc: writin in Gen’s perspective!

There was a time in her life when she had lost this great black mass beside her. A time when she believed the world had ended and she would forever be alone. Back then they were two of one; yin and yang. A small smile tugged upon her pearl lips and she moved over, bumping him lightly with her body. A low growl formed from him but he returned the movement. If it had been anybody else the brute would have possibly slashed their throat. This was Genisys though and only she would be loved by him. Genisys couldn’t tell if this was a curse or a blessing actually. Ever since she had finally found him, he had not really left her side. After her hunt with Aindreas, the pale maiden had wandered the pack lands, searching desperately for the scent of her brother. How long it took for her to find him, she didn’t know. She had caught him sitting down, facing away from her. For a minute she watched him, taking in his fresh and old battle scars and just trying to capture his form for eternity. Then he smelt it.

Exodus had turned to face her, giving her the look of death that she knew all too well. It wasn’t really the happy reunion she had hoped for. He could smell Aindreas upon her pelt and had angrily sought out answers. There was a lot of shouting, growling, stomping and pacing until she was finally able to get her story out. Not to her surprise, he still wasn’t happy. The fact that the other pack male had hurt his sister only made the situation worse and it took longer than ever for the crème girl to calm her brooding brother. Since then, they hadn’t said a word really. There soft subtle hints of affection that passed between them in silence. No cuddling and rubbing for these siblings, they were too strong for that. Now as they walked through their new home, she turned and nipped upon his ear gently. This caused another growl and Exodus paused in his steps to face her. For a split second his cobalts softened and he pawed at her face. In an instant though, he returned to his normal broken self and Genisys found herself grinning madly.

She had learned to be so strong without her brother around that now she felt herself relax. She could be safe, knowing that he would have her back. Their walk began again and their foot falls matched perfectly. Exodus held his head high and Genisys swung her hips. Salt and Pepper, black and white and tied for life. They had an unbreakable bond that he so dearly tried to keep going. Even in his constantly angered state, he tried to give her happiness. They moved as one in silence until his gruff chords broke it. “So, when do I get to meet this heartbreaker.” Genisys couldn’t help but cringe, faltering slightly in her steps before snarling. She hadn’t truly forgotten about Aindreas but she had tried. Leave it to Exodus to bring up the painful feelings once more. “Never,” Was her cool response. She lifted her flowing white tassel and picked up the pace, moving past her ignorant brother. She could practically feel the grin spreading across his onyx kissers and she smirked. The black beast easily picked up his pace as well, coming ahead of her and turning to stop her from escaping. He fixed his cool gazers on her, softening slightly. Genisys halted as well, placing her rump on the ground and fixing him with her own dark jades. She curls her tail around her slender pillars, waiting to hear his lecture. “Gen,” The use of her nickname causes her to look away, shifting her gaze to a nearby tree. “Exodus.” She forced a smile, lifting a defiant eyebrow. He furrowed his, staring at her for a moment before sitting down as well.

Even while sitting the wraith towered over her by at least an inch. Where the white feya was a slender girl with just the right amount of curves, Exodus was just all muscle. Granted, he was a male and he did fight a lot but he was still big for his breed. Genisys was larger than most females, it was because of their parents really. She lifts her paw, slapping him on the muzzle and being rewarded with a snarl. “I don’t want to talk about it.” She started. He opened his strong jaws to start up again and she cut him short. “I’m over it Exodus.” Her voice held authority within it, ceasing the matter for now. Only she had the power to get her brother to listen and even then it never lasted long. They stared at each other, defiance in both of their unique eyes and the strong set of their jaws. They truly were brother and sister.
