News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Long before the Mountains of Spirane were birthed in the fires of the Meteor Blast, My mother and Father before me ruled the highest elevations of Moladian with a Gentle Paw and an Iron Fang. Their Principles of Honor, of Justice, and of Peace were thoroughly engrained into the Hearts and Souls of all that had followed after them. And even in their Death, and even in Moladian's new skin, there still roam many of those followers who continue to remain utterly loyal to the Mountains and our Creed.

I take great pride in following in my mother's pawprints. Her name and reputation have cast a long and broad shadow, and there are still many times I find it difficult to live up to her many Great Deeds. But I take each day in stride, giving 110% of myself to my family, by blood or bond, everyone in Spirane was my Family.

As such, I have established Spirane as a Sanctuary for any and all who seek it. My parents had been notorious for taking in orphaned children and raising them like their own, and I in turn have often done the same. We are by far not the largest pack in New Moladian, but we are certainly the most notable in terms of peace. We keep to ourselves for the most part, and are often considered more mysterious and elusive then the other packs. Perhaps it is because we are a tribe of mystics, or perhaps it is simply our nature to be so.

I am poised atop one of the outter summits of my domain, meditating in the early morning hours and conferring with the Ancient Spirits as to my next course of actions this day, but my solitude seems disturbed by a vibration that makes it difficult to concentrate and hold on to my vision. When at last my focus truly breaks, my eyes blink open, squinting against the glare of early morning sun, and from the peripheries of my amethyst gaze I catch sight of a flickering flame further down the slope from where I sat.

Regal tiara turns, shamaness eyes regarding the figure stretched out across the snow with a soothsayer's calm. Ah, so that is what was throwing my concentration off kilter.... Spirane has received a new visitor.

I stand at attention, pettitcoats of lustrious quicksilver gleaming beneath the golden waves of sun. An obsidian dorsal stripe paints a long line down the supple curve of my spine, and my face seems forever soft and dream-like in it's platinum, heart-shaped frame.

Lips quirk into a gentile smile at their corners, painting a radiant portrait of confidence and authority, without ever having to resort to aggression. Crown held high, long willowy spires carry me at a graceful and unhurried pace down the mountainside towards the unknown pilgrim.

"Blessed Be, Stranger." I speak in a strong yet gentle and dream-like voice as I come within speaking distance of the girl. "I am Moonglow, Crown of the Moon within Spirane. Pray tell what brings such a vibrant soul to my Borders this day?"

I inquire openly and without reserve. I stand tall, but do not boast my authority with raised hackles or curled tassel. Truly I rare have need to exert such austerity over anyone.
