During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

Aindreas’s nares flared, and he lifted his head for the first time that day, the fleeting scent upon the wind sweetly familiar. His auds swiveled, but hearing nothing he raised his bodice off of the soft earth, his paws coming underneath of his form and his limbs straightening his form up to its full height. His chest swells as he inhales deeply, trying to find tinge of her scent, but finding nothing, his haunches propel him forward in a direction, his nares trying to find any source of her. The snowy titan tries everything to catch a whiff of that lupine, the one that he somehow has developed feelings for, the one that disappeared. Well, at least one of the lupines who disappeared on him. There had been so many, that he actually had a list, and it was depressing. But she… was different. She was his match in appearance, except for their orbs. And somehow she had been able to coax him into speaking. Convinced him to leave his incessant patrolling to go on a hunt with her. And even hunting with her had gone smoothly – together taking down prey had been easy. And then they had returned to the border of the terra, hoping for Genisys to be accepted by Serris into the pack. But then Genisys had left him just like every other wolf had. And Serris had disappeared once again, gone on one of his vacations, or breaks from life. Wherever he had gone, whatever he had done, he had been gone. And she had been gone. And he had been left alone.

News of his mentor, Kalgalath, had reached his ears, which had of course sent him on an emotional rollercoaster. While anger and rage were dominant, betrayal and confusion, sadness and fear were also present. Honestly, the titan didn’t know what to feel. He couldn’t pick just one emotion, so instead they were all rushing out of him at the same time. And then Serris had returned to the lands, and granted the snowy titan with a ranking along with a warning that he was going to be watched and his judgements judged. But Aindreas was okay with that. He would not change how he acted within the packlands – he would still go on his patrols of the boundary. But perhaps he was already changed. He had lost his obsessive behavior already, and had begun to greet strangers at the border. Well, one stranger. And it had been her.

So when her scent crossed his nares, his blood began to boil, starting up his whole system. The brute tried to remain cool and calm, and kept his stride to a walk, but he lengthened his stride, trying to hasten how quickly he could reach her. But then another scent crossed his nares, that of a brute. Aindreas paused his stride, his lips turning upward at the thought of another brute being around her, but with a sigh, he lowered his lips – she was not his. He had no right to be… jealous. If that was the word for what he was feeling right now. The snowy titan’s stride shortened and his form slouched slightly. Was he to be alone forever?

Finally, she came into his visionaries. Her glossy ivory pelt glinting in all of its beauteous glory. And beside her was the brute whose stench he had smelt intertwined with her own. And there near the pair was his Alpha, Serris. A smirk lay upon the Alpha’s kissers, and Aindreas approached, dipping his head in greeting to Serris before his icy gaze flickered to the femme. His vocals ceased as they used to. Months of disuse from her absence and a silent pack did nothing for his voice. So he merely stared at her with sad eyes, noting the brute at her side, and glanced away. Silent still.
