The disappointment in the fae’s eyes isn’t hard to miss, but what was she expecting? Aindreas to run up and sweep her off her feet? They didn’t live in a fairy tale here. However, a look of understanding enters the lady and Serris’ words, and the regal couldn’t hide some of his relief. She wouldn’t leave afterall. Not only was that good for the strength of his pack, it was also good for Aindreas. The pale rouge needed some estrogen in his life.
Genisys lowered herself to the terra, rolling over slightly to reveal the soft flesh of her underbelly. He let his head cock to the side as her words began to flow, weaving words of her brother. Serris gave a nod after her comment to keep the boy in line. But just to make sure, he felt the need to clarify his movement. “Although there is something admirable in his protective nature, I hope that leash of yours is strong enough to hold him, for your sake. I do not wish to have a little... chat with the two of you.” Serris knew he probably shouldn’t be speaking in mysterious terms again; it had gotten him into this mess in the first place. However, he really felt no need to spell things out this time either. He expected both of them to keep in line, that was that. Any decent Alpha would expect as much.
The charcoal brute’s gaze once again drifted in the direction of the two males, seeing little but hearing soft lyrics on the wind. No battle cries yet. He still didn’t trust the two of them not to kill eachother though. Sure, he trusted each in their own respect, but that much testosterone concentrated on one girl could cause enormous trouble. When his stare returned to the femora it surprised him to see her standing. Guess he missed it. Her last sentence brought a coy grin to the King’s lips. Of course he knew her name already, but the introduction was much appreciated regardless. “Serris. Although, if you didn’t already know that, I’d seriously question your mental status.” He gave a teasing smirk and a sideways tilt of his head. But, with all these formal things out of the way, Serris was eager to return to the others. Control freak? Maybe. But it was his duty to protect every member of the pack and keep peace, and he was hell bent on doing just that. He began walking back, throwing a sideways nod and an apology at the femme. “Excuse me.”
The regal could only tell that Aindreas was talking, nothing more. None of the vocals were clear enough to decipher, much to the disappointment of the King. Hey, he was allowed to be nosy about the workings of his pack. However, he seemed to arrive just in time to watch the white lad take his leave. Did Exodus say something to drive him away? Aindreas had never struck his as the overly stubborn type, but he wasn’t a coward either. Serris’ portals narrowed slightly, questioning. His gaze swung to focus on the other dark male, one eyebrow raising slightly. He really didn’t want to be a part of this anymore, but something told him the fun was just starting.
