News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Coza was thrilled to see Moth looking so well, his tail waved and he could not help but smile quite largely at her as she let her brown gaze meet his. The alpha’s had not yet arrived and he was fairly content with just being here with his Moth and the other girl Fathom. He did not know her, and wouldn’t mind getting to know her, but he wanted to make sure he was with Moth and fairly settled first. His tribute needed passed to the Alphas and his gift given to Moth then perhaps he would try to see some more members. If his language barrier would allow it. The jem-eyed brute was still rather confused with all the formal speech going on around him.

His attention did not hold on them long though, he did not spot the brute for some time thanks to his pure white pelt blending with the snows around him. Really he looked brighter than the snow, an odd flash over the horizon, but if Coszcotl’s nose did not deceive him he was not the alpha, yet he held some very similar aspects to the scent of the pack’s leaders. The violet eyes only went over him for a moment, the cream and brown male only could stand in silence as the male came closer, moving up next to Moth causing Coza to have a jolt of panic. He was older than Coza, probably around the fem who so stole his heart’s age. The strange look he had given Moth just before he had leaned in to whisper to her did not ease his fears. His face dropped in mild fear, wondering what he was saying, not that he was certain he would understand any of it anyway but it would at least help to hear how he was saying it. A tang of bitterness he had never felt before edged through him, but both the look of fear and the feeling vanished as the violet gaze once more focused on his form.

Coza could tell he was judging him, by all means, he held a neutral look, though he glanced at Moth nervously before again turning the fire opal eyes to the Angel King. He heard Moth speak, introducing him then calling him something. Imprint, a completely unknown word, though surely it was good with the tone she was saying it with. The Aztec brute smiled at her, but it vanished just as she stiffened, turning his eyes back to Heyel. He could feel nervous, like just before rampaging down the mountain to the lower tribes so he could hunt or collect food, or when he confronted someone from those tribes lower than his. He never knew if they would be hostile or not that day, he tried to be nice about it he really did, but could he blame them? It was why he left, he couldn’t deal with it anymore. It was his, but it wasn’t, he shifted slightly, but it perhaps could have been mistaken as just shifting his weight over his paws.

The creamy-white male did his best to maintain eye contact with the glowing white figure. His voice, he did not like his tone, it reminded him so much of the tribe leader of his home, and he spoke so strangely and quickly. He was quickly lost in the Angel’s words, not understanding hardly a word of his first sentence other than catching some names and something about puppies. Coza was confused, and scared, not sure what he was saying. Was his mate having puppies? Then she too needed a gift! All birthing mothers were to be given food to help them with the coming children. As he was trying to figure out what he was saying the first time however, he spoke more, this time hardly any words rang in his mind all except that last few.

Bring sacrifice.

His eyes widened with fear. Sacrifice? He was supposed to kill someone, he had only brought the turkey and he did not want to bring anyone dead. No he couldn’t do it. His ears fell back and his poise waivered, bringing forth a wave of terrible memories that he just wanted to go away. He stepped away, he had to try and muster the courage to get it, his heart going into a fleeting panic like the birds had just before it’s last breaths. Coszcotl turned, feeling shame, he had not done the proper thing, and he couldn’t. Did Moth also have to give a sacrifice? Or was it just because he was a large male again that he was told to do such a role? Either way he only had the turkey to offer.

It wasn’t far, just behind the trees, he grabbed it by the back of the neck and trotted back with his tribute, dropping it at the white brute’s paws. He looked him in the eyes and then to Moth feeling as if he had failed her. Did she expect a sacrifice too? If his problems were not bad enough another male came, this one though was younger, his age perhaps. He did not spare him much thought, but it seemed greeting strangers was a tribe order not simply a pack order, however the brute spoke, Coza did not look at him but heard him say to Moth ‘mother’. He knew that word, His ears twisted to listen, the young male did not seem all that thrilled with Moth, his mother perhaps, and Coza was not so pleased with the tone taken to her. His eyes flashed daringly at the boy, same age or not, her son or not, he did not like that tone he was taking with her. Nor did she it seemed. Hopefully he could figure this out, and hopefully his tribute was enough to allow him to be with Moth.
