Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The ess emerged from her small den, where she had hidden all these weeks, and hiked up the mountain. Comet has obscured herself in case Autumn Leaf ever found out she was alive, and she didn't want to be tortured the worst way a female could be--not again, at least. She was completely and utterly exhausted, to say the least. Comet had been keeping herself alive on mice and other small rodents, but she needed more. (You should already have guessed by now, because she's a cannibal.) She needed an easy catch, though; something weak. Ah, over there! She purred to herself as blue orbs pierced the back of a brown wolf's neck. The girl licked her chops hungrily and waltzed confidently towards him. She boldly walked right next to him and crooned in his ear, watching him as his male senses became activated. She bumped him with her hips and walked away, watching the brute lick his lips hungrily as his gaze bore upon her. She squeezed into her den and waited a few moments for the male to come after her. Then, Comet pressed her nose and jaws against his cheek, her teeth leaving blood caked against his fur as she kissed down toward his neck. A groan of pain and lust erupted from him, and he nearly sprang upon her, but composed himself. She continued the contact with her teeth until she was closer to his life-giving arteries. Then she suddenly opened her jaws and sank her canines into his jugular. He slumped on the ground, life blood pouring out of his neck, and she feasted. When she was full, she buried the remains away from the den and sat at a ridge, looking down at the world below. She found a small, thin stream and cleansed herself from the blood of her kill. Then, she basked in the rising sun and waited; for what, she didn't know herself.
