I don't think you will find a flatter course. Great for a PB. As the other post mentions the hills are at the last 6-7km mark. Hill 1 is a long gradual approx 1km that begins with a downhill. 2nd hill is short but steep about 2 km further down the road with the final hill at the university which is not hard. The second one is the toughest. Since the course is about 10km along the beach it starts as flat as you can get the middle section is along the Confederation trail and it is flat as well. I have cycled the full course but only run the half. The second half of the course is the more challenging section. Good luck
