The femme seemed to be thinking about something while they continued their conversation. There was no need to pry whatever she was thinking wasn’t to important; Lolita’s façade hadn’t changed to much only a slight change in her features, a change only practiced eyes could have spotted. Lokii was proud that she could find ways to read others so easily. Years of silence had earned her this trait, which was very helpful in most situations. My puffed up chest was noticed; amusement easily showed in her amber pools which made Lokii smile even wider. Her face muscles were starting to cramp and so she removed the smile and massaged her jaw with her free paw; her speech came out slightly slurred while she removed the knots, I guess I need to work my smiling muscles. I didn’t realize how much I frown. Her voice trickled with sarcasm, a slight giggle escaping her lips. She frowned on purpose to prove her point but she started to laugh but regained control of herself. "I'd be disappointed if you did any less." This made Lokii sit a little straighter, she was so gratified to know that Loli had high expectations that she met! Her purring leaked into her words, she was the mother Lokii never had. She never thought that she’d be able to get such praise but it was still understood that it came from ‘good’ behavior. She had to show that she could be a warrior, it was in her blood now she needed to bring it out. Loli was the perfect mentor and with some help from Lycon she would be the best, she could be. Her explanation had been sufficient and there was no need for more than the surface. Her question amused the dappled colleen, "Perhaps," she replied silkily. "Just be aware I'll be watching your progression these next few weeks. I want to get a general idea of what I'll be working with." Lokii gave a slight smile, her jaw still sore from her constant smile, You tease so lightly Lolita. I appreciate some light humor to brighten the day.
