At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Dauntless looked down from his view on the rock face. It was beautiful up here. The sun was rising, warming the chill air that accomponied higher altitudes. He looked down over the forest. A scent wafted up his nares and be scrunched up his nose a bit. It was Erudite. It wasn't like he thought Erudite smelled, but he was ...well....different around her and he couldn't say it was for the better. She just had a way with words that he found himself ensnared by. She always seemed to have him wrapped around her claw. Not this time though. If she wanted him she would have to reach him and the ess was to weak to do so. Besides, even of she wouldn't admit it, Erudite was afraid. She wouldn't dare to climb the cliff that he had. Dauntless felt a bit smug that he had found somewhere that his siblings wouldn't dare try to go to get him. The large black brute felt a strong wind blow across the cliff face. He raised his cranium and let it blow his fur back, digging his claws into the small ledge he was on as much as he could for better support. Dauntless would have been perfectly happy to spend his day up there, surrounded by the sky, but something, or rather someone, intrigued him. With the strong wind had come a new scent, one that Dauntless was familiar with as well. It was Amity, following nearly the exact same route as Erudite, stopping only to collect herbs. Amity wasn't exactly a fan of Erudite's so the large, black Titan wondered what he was doing with her. If Amity had been drawn to the place with a wolf he didn't really like then it was worth checking out. Sighing a little as he left his perfect spot, the brute launched himself from ledge to ledge, placing his laws in the small crevices as he neared the top. The loose stones above him made the edge of the cliff a land slide waiting to happen. Dauntless grinned. This would be fun. He crouched, preparing himself for a higher jump than the others. He leapt, digging his class into the rocky soil and scrambling up. Many of the loose stones tumbled down the cliff loudly, leaving behind a trail of dust and booming as they crashed against the stone cliff. The brute could have fallen to his death had he been a second slower in pulling himself up. "Awesome." Dauntless said. He ran the whole way down the cliff since walking took to long. The pure black wolf looked a bit like a shadow, darting around and jumping into low tree branches before throwing himself onto rocks with sharp edges. In this fashion he made it to the area his brother and sister were in. "Amity, Erudite." he said. The litter had never been found of loving greetings and Dauntless was too focused on the waterfalls to say anything more. His jaw dropped as he eyed them. They would be fun to go down. Without saying a word, the brujo ran to find a way up. Once he did so, he plunged into the river, letting it carry him over the waterfalls. The wolf popped out of the water excitedly. "Awesome." he said under his breath. The lupine dragged himself onto the bank and flopped down near Amity with a happy smile on his kissers. Life was good.
