The Way of the Warrior

Aindreas was still moping over the disappearance of Genisys, and was still shocked by the confession of emotions that he had let loose to her brother, Exodus. He had never been a lovie dovie lupine, nor had he been one who even knew about emotions aside from the dark ones: anger, betrayal, and the like. He couldn’t believe that she was gone from his life for forever. Why did he offend her so? But then a vocal reached his auds, causing his bodice to leap off of the earth that he had been laying upon. All of his muscles tensed, all of his senses hyperattentative. The howl seemed to be music to his ears, a sweet melody that pulled at his heartstrings and made him want to approach the origin of it. For it was her vocals; of that he was sure. Quickly, his muscles pushed him off, leaping him into action. His stride was long, and soon lactic acid began to build up in his muscles from the quick motion, especially without the stretching that he should have done beforehand. But it was worth it. All of it was worth it when her snowy pelt came into his visionaries in all of its beauteous glory. A smile crept onto his kissers and her name slipped out of his maw. “Genisys…you didn’t leave.” The pup had never felt such elation in the entirety of his being.
The moment, however, was brief when he realized that there was a wolf behind her that was standing on opposite side of the boundary. A brute. Jealousy once more flowed into his bodice, the way it had when he had first seen Exodus in Genisys’s company. Who was he? What was his business with the fae? The titan looked oddly familiar, and then Aindreas noted his orbs and his nares flared with his scent, and his lips raised, exposing the tips of his canines. For the eyes matched his own. And his scent was similar to his own. “Rohan…”
Though his brother may not recognize him, Aindreas surely recognized the brute. For after his mother had abandoned him, deciding to only keep his two siblings, Aindreas had snuck around the trio, watching, observing them. Stealing tidbits off of the remnants of their meals, and wishing that he had been with them. So he knew the brute in front of him well and held no lovelost for him. Rohan had seemed to be the favored male pup by being the one that his mother had decided to keep. To see him here, now… what could it mean?
Aindreas approached Genisys and rubbed against her subtly, wishing he could firmly nuzzle her, rubbing his scent upon her, claiming her as his own. But he couldn’t. She didn’t want him. Could it be… could it be that she also would choose Rohan over him?
"What is your business here, brother" Aindreas' words were court, and he spat out the last word with sarcasm. For they were brothers in blood only. Not in family. Not in memories.
