Amatus
‘Kavik! There you are!’ The lad’s emerald lanterns flashed around, quick and earnest to spot, familiarise with the stranger who had decided quite promptly, to intrude in their one way conversation. His expression twisted into a cold grimace at the proposition of a girl intervening in the scene. It was even worse that they appeared to be of the same litter; their unique markings were too similar not to be related. And so the young hessian sized her up silently. Discreet eyes absorbing everything about her; the unfamiliar scent, new appearance… eyes, colours, markings, size... It was quite clear however, that unlike her brother she possessed the trait of chattiness – something Tag was not fond of. His own voice was much more preferable over anyone else’s. And though he was quite unaware, though he was quite naïve to the prospect of the idea, this trait would weigh him down eventually. At her childish, girlish giggle, Tag sneered, multiplying to the hostile air. Girls were good for nothing. For a brief moment, he was ignored while she chatted to her brother… what was his name? Kavik! That was it… He observed them quietly, watching the young brute under the weight of his sister. At the humorous scene, a smirk filtered through his scowl. Babbling on, she hadn’t noticed him! Perfect. But his joy was short lived when she eventually took notice in him. Girls; they were so slow.

'Well hello there! Are you a trespasser?’ The scowl upon the boy’s face hardened, he had not trespassed and he would not be accused of it! Especially by a girl… “No.” He insisted with lyrics accompanied with unmistakeable defiance and rebellion. His spheres caught sight of her tail wagging frantically, madly. What was wrong with her? He actually preferred the ‘silent one.’ He growled quietly, sounds of his rumbling irritation passing through his chest. The brute’s posture stiffened, chest protruding slightly in desire of the effect to look bigger and stronger. It was a habit of his that he had yet to outgrow. Ever since he had laid in the comfort of his den, old enough to experience these emotions, he had attempted desperately to outdo his litter mates – make himself top pup. He would tackle them harshly, nip them and steal from them. All the while he was ignorant that his actions were in fact not something to be admired.

‘Come closer… We’re going to keep you prisoner!’ That settled it, she was sure enough mad! A laugh escaped from his ashen maw, ringing through the air like a mocking tune. His ears flicked towards her with amusement. “I’d like to see you try! You’re just a girl and ‘mute’ over there probably won’t be much help either.” His voice was full of a strong mocking tone. His banner rose ever so slightly, flicking to the right side of his leg.
