News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
The smoke in the shadows
IP: 24.27.96.14

My children suckle at my body, and I feel...a strange calmness from it. It is a natural thing, I think, for I cannot seem to control the ease that is overcoming me. The pain of birth was just that, temporary pain, and now with me is the blood of the greatest. It is because it is the blood of myself, extended into three little life forms right next to me. They were to be all and everything. Even if I cannot control them completely, part of me knows I created them to be exactly what they need to be. They will do exactly what they were born to do, because I have created them. I despise the fact that I needed a male to create them, but there was one male who was good enough to provide me with a piece of himself to create them...and speak of the devil.

I am hyper aware of my surroundings in this state, as my children suckle at my belly and grow stronger with ever moment. I can smell the stench of birth that fills the den. I can smell the pollen in the air and the wind then carries the scent of Heyel coming my way. I cannot help but let my lips twitch at his approach towards my den, now filled with my children. He may be the father of them, but as far as I am concerned, he takes no claim over them. These are completely my children, mine and no one else's. Unless he decided to come out to all and proclaim his creations, then he very well do as I say when it comes to my children. He has his own little happy family to tote about, once again. He has his black pelted old lady by his side, and I am fully aware that Heyel did not just impregnate me this season. Of course not, Heyel is a male determined to spread himself everywhere. Too bad that he made lesser children, in all of his other children, including from Zeivah's blood, for the true perfection is here...and obviously, he has come to see what he will be missing out on. In the end, I knew he would come to see his children, and I smirk as his scent tickles my nose so gently. Anselm is practically his duplicate, as far as I can tell. I know he will be pleased when his eyes fall upon the children we have created.

I am, however, feeling something very strong within me. It is a dark thing. A violent thing. Call it instinct or call it insanity, but I don't want anyone near my children when they are so...small and vulnerable to jaws. It matters not who lingers near my den, I find it very difficult to stop my desire to rip open a throat for coming near. I hear the sound of paws closing in, and I swear that I can hear it loud like thunder in a raging storm. Even though my nose said Heyel, my very instincts did not care. My fangs begin to expose in the dawn's morning light. I hear his voice radiate in my direction, his latin filling the void between the cries of my children, and he can very well get over the snarl that erupted from my throat. It is a short, low growl, a warning of sorts that he should not dare enter too far. He is the father of my children, and maybe I do give Heyel a little bit of leeway. My copper eyes search at the entrance for his form as he enters, my lips falling over my fangs as he smiles softly at my creations. I can feel how pleased he is, once his violet eyes take in the glowing light of the three laying next to me. I can see his eyes lit up like the sun itself, yet I only stare at him with my hardened gaze, giving him nothing as I analyze his reaction.

I can see how proud he is of the children he helped to create. It is too bad, that it is the same pride that will hold him back from the true greatness of what lies before him. Pity, really, that the assassin king is afraid of the words of others. I flick my ears towards him as he speaks again, asking me of their names. i suppose, he will find out at some point or another. I lift my head, my muzzle aiming downward towards my children, though my eyes never really leave Heyel, for I cannot...trust, anyone, near my children.

"Femina, Ayal est in nomine. Unum album, Anselmus et protector eorum. Et quae oculis parentum Eden."(The female, is Ayal in name. The one of white, Anselm, the protector of god. The one that looks of both of his parents, Eden.)

I said simply, leaving no indication of which was born first or last. If anything, it was revered by the order I gave. I seek no importance on who was born first, and my children will not know the order in which they were born. It is not relevant, as far as I can concerned. They can't all come out at the same time, and if they choose to put importance on it, then they will have a hard time with it. They will get nothing from me. I twist my dark muzzle back around to Heyel, my muzzle about to part to speak again, when I am silenced by the sound of another coming towards my den. No one else is even close to be acceptable near my children. No one. My head flicks and my eyes intensify as I listen carefully. The hairs on my back begin to rise. Whoever it is, they are too close. My mighty form lifts off the ground, leaving my children to cuddle among themselves, or fight among themselves, whichever they decide to do. My copper eyes are only fixated on the entrance of the den, looking past Heyel with an intensity he has likely never even seen before.

I hear the voice of Meryl and my blood begins to boil. I cannot stop myself and my intense instincts. I am the ruler of my world, this world, and I will not be displeased in my time of birthing my children. And Oh, am I more than just displeased. I am strong, warrior like in build but my motherly instincts make me lightning fast in my reaction. My limbs spring forward, rushing past Heyel with my fangs fully exposed, my jaws open wide, and a snarl no ears would wish to ear tearing from my throat. My form blocks the entrance of my den, my jaws snapping inches away from Meryl. Let him see the insanity within my wide copper eyes, my pupils dilated in my complete rage at his violation. Let that puppy learn to never approach the den of Ava and her children without my explicit consent. I saw not, heard not that he was a healer, checking in on a birthing mother. My instincts to protect were too strong, too powerful to ignore. He was a threat and he was to leave the area or bleed. I snapped wildly again, as if I was mad with disease, saliva dripping from my sharp fangs as my whole dark face remained wrinkled in snarl. Dare Meryl make one move towards me, and I would rip him to shreds. It is only Heyel who could stop me now, and he would leave with scars upon his pretty face if he tried to stop me from protecting my children. I am the mother to be feared. I am the mother that will kill. Meryl best run with his tail between his legs, as I am half ready to jump on his throat.
