Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Sinopa! I sit up, suddenly wide awake in my cozy den in Diveen, lying next to the love of my life and mother of my beautiful children. I blink a few times in the darkness of the den. It's daylight outside but the den is well sheltered from the any and all weather. I can feel her though, my imprint. She's in pain. She needs me. I nuzzle Isola ever so softly, not wanting to wake her. She would only worry. Slowly and carefully I get up, being sure not to make her move as I glance restlessly toward the den. I glance down at my beautiful son and daughter. Sage and Solaris. Achilles came by earlier to see them. He looked a little displeased but I told him to get out after a while, silently, of course. He reminds me far too much of his grandfather Heyel. Trying not to think about it, I race toward the borders, eager to get into Glorall and be at her side. I can feel that she's alone, that she needs someone there. A whine struggles from my throat as I eat up the ground beneath my paws. Before I know it, I'm over the borders and halfway to Glorall. I can already smell the sea air. Soon enough my paws are crunching on soft sand as I race to her. I can feel her; I don't even have to smell her. I don't think about border patrol or other wolves that could think to stop me. All I want is my imprint and who are they to stand in my way? I'm at her den entrance finally and panting, my sides heaving, my ears flickering uncertainly. I lower my head, my voice soft.

"Sinopa, I'm here. May I come in?"
