Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

I shifted a bit, my pawpads planted firmly on the stone. The feeling of flightiness was slowly melting away from my muscles, a natural reflex that I had developed. Now my pools were merely tracked on the red fae, who seemed to be on the brink of adulthood. My sensitive nares could detect the scent of other wolves on her.. Family? A pack? I couldn't figure it out, but by the rate she liked to comment, I'm sure it would slip soon.
I could pick up the slightest flicker of comfortableness in Dib's orbs as I emotionally receded into myself. I meant no offense, and I was certainly pleased by the younger fae's manners. It was merely a trait of my upbringing. Though I was already warming up to her undoubtedly charming disposition. My eyes were drawn down to her front feet, and they settled upon her left digit. As a remediator, I had plenty of experience with maladies, and my lamps quickly scanned her foot before drifting back up to her face. It was a birth defect, with no sign of outer trama on the skin, or disrupting the fur. She seemed to move about fine enough, with only this causing a minor limp.
Behind me the sun was rising steadily into the blue sky, picking up speed. It's rays were warming my fur, and soon it would be too uncomfortable to stay out in the open. As a tundra wolf my coat did shed in the summer, but it's natural thickness was awful in the heat. I could barely stand temperatures above seventy five degrees, and then I would begin to pant profousely. During these seasons I often confined myself to an old den, cave, or under a rock until the nightfall, in which then I would begin my nocturnal duties. It was another event that often made me despise my heritage.
Dib began to talk again when the teen picked up at my slightly less tense posture. I could only imagine what her mother must've felt when the young canid began to explore the world and ask boundless questions. A flicker of amusement sparked in my ears, and they twitched as I bit back a small grin. She was definitely not shy. Dib addressed the wonderful weather and the cool morning, and I gave a slight nod of my skull. Still, I would not disclose my previous travels before coming to the ledge. They were..

I lifted my nape again to look at her.
You as well.
At least the russet fae had been brought up with manners. Rather than give a snappy reply, I chose my next words carefully.
I am merely resting before returning home. And you?
