Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

She feels a one-ness with this male, she doesn't understand it, but there is a part of her that she had thought had been whole all her life and now, now it was finally filled up. She felt like a survivor in the desert. parched of water and about to collapse and give up all hope, but with him at her side she felt as if she would never run out of water. "I do hope so... poor dear, I never should have left her in the den" she said taking one last look back at the den area before they started off towards the river. Perhaps the young girl had just gone off for a drink, maybe to find some pretty rocks or something. They move off in unison, thought both wishing only to stay within each others embrace. She has this strange feeling in the pit of her stomic though that she wont find Aerith at the edge of the waters, hear her happy voice once again. The poor girl had been left behind by her own pack, how many pups in this world would be left behind like this? how many would never really truely know their real family?

It could be called a surprise to find Pan near the edge of the water, she had her nose to the ground so she hadn't heard him but his scent carried easily just as their own did in the swaying breeze, her head lifted up just in time to see Pan come towards them that gleaming smile that surely made the girls swoon over his golden pelt. She smiles towards him as well, though her's is not as brightly lit as his own. She is missing something, someone... and she doesn't want to miss them, it makes her sad. She presses her own nose into his for a breif moment in greetings before turning towards Vidar. She knows he's not of Glorall... what would Pan say of his arrival here? Pan stepped back from her with a frown on his face, worry laced the corners of his beautiful smile, "I believe I have indeed Pan, dearest Aerith, my young charge.. She is missing, I left her in the den and when I returned, oh me oh my, Pan she's gone missing!" there we are again, Ever's turned into a ball of histerics again. Tears flow from her bright pumpkin spice eyes as her nose tips downwards.

Everchime looked back at Vidar with a moment of worry, they hadn't the chance to formally introduce themselves yet, oh lord she's been in such a commotion as of late, and their first meeting hadn't gone off very smoothly indeed. How had he come to find her at the very time that she had broken down? the questions swarm her head as she gives Vidar a bit of a quizical look. "To be truthful Pan, I do not know his name. But he is a very kind soul. He's here to help me find Aerith. We met in the crater some days back and... well I can't very well describe the feeling Pan, but there's something..... something there.. and I.. I haven't the faintest idea what's gone on..." her face is full of quizzical expessions as she tries to figure out exactly what has gone on. So much has gone on in the past few days that poor Everchime is just left spinning in a circle it seems. "But this is not an important question Pan," she puts on her serious face though, for she must find Aerith. She just has to find her "the important question, is where is Aerith.... I followed her scent to here and now it's gone..." it was true. She couldn't find the scent any where along the river bank now. Not in this area at least.
