At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

_________________________________________________________________________ Mezic was happy that he had found someone that he could talk to. The pack meeting at Andere Seite was nothing like he thought it would be. He had tried speaking up, to maybe make some friends there, but everyone there ignored him. He was a very talkative and outgoing young brute, so sitting silently while the older wolves talked solemnly was not his thing. He had hoped to meet younger wolves his age; he was still a very young teen and would greatly benefit from some guidance of adult wolves, rather than being ignored like he had at Andere Seite. The russet brute considered leaving the solemn and serious pack and exploring some other ones, maybe others would help bring some guidance and growth into his life. It really was time that he grew up and learned how to act like an adult and not a pup anymore. He wagged his tail happily as he spoke to Dib, happy that she seemed outgoing and easygoing like himself. The young brute spoke quickly, excited to be making a friend, but suddenly was worried that he was speaking too much to the femme so he snapped his maw shut suddenly, not wanting to bother Dib. After he stopped speaking Dib took a turn to open her maw and speak to him, “I have heard quite a bit about Andere Seite and they seem like the quiet and solemn type.” She paused, biting her lip as if conflicted. Mezic’s tail drooped slightly at her words; that did not seem like the type of pack he wanted. He wanted a pack that could help him grow to his full potential, not one that was quiet and would ignore him as they had done so far. Dib shook her coat as she continued speaking, ”I was born here in Blossom Forest, my mother giving birth in Saw Tooth. I have lived here and been part of my pack since then. Me and my siblings were born around the same time as the heirs of Saw Tooth and so there were quite a few pups in the pack. We all grew up together.” Dib grinned as she spoke about her puphood, Mezic following her lead and smiling at the lass. He was glad to hear that she had a good life with her family. He sometimes regretted leaving his family, but in the long run he felt like it had been for the best. A frown crossed Dib’s maw before she spoke again and it surprised Mezic. He hoped he hadn’t done anything that had bothered her or brought up bad memories for the girl. Before he could ask if she was alright she spoke again, another smile crossing her kissers, ”You know you don’t have to be frightened of talking to me. You could never ramble as much as me and so I really don’t care. Talk as much as you want.” He wagged his tail in response, glad that he had not offended her with his babbling speech. “I’m glad I can talk around you. My pack seems to ignore me whenever I try to speak. I think I’m going to try and find a new pack, one that hopefully won’t ignore me whenever I try to talk.” His tail dropped in sadness again as he thought of how he still did not belong anywhere. He hoped that he would be able to find a pack that could accept him as the wolf he really was. “Are you okay though? You seemed sad a minute ago? Is everything ok?” He did not realize that asking personal questions could come off so rudely and intruding on Dib’s personal life. Mezic had no filter, he basically raised himself and did not learn that sometimes when he spoke his words could come out rude and intrusive. ________________________________________________________________________ |
