He was still pondering Rayn's questions when that familiar scent wafted towards him, he had Vainglory with him, he had decided that he would stay with each child for a period of time, talking with them, watching them, asking questions and answering questions as best he could. He wanted to see, almost desperately, if any of the white eye'd children were like him. By nature, he is a grumpy beast, fowl hearted and decidedly owly at the best of times. Paldor hadn't always been this way though, and the children had brought out that softer side of him that had always been there hidden, and for a while now there had been no voices in his head. Had the children created a more level minded Paldor? or was it all a facade to keep them from seeing what a disaster they had for a father? He didn't know, didn't know if he'd ever know. But one thing he did know, was that he was not a demon. It had taken some time for him to see it, but he was not. Just as Ruvindra was not a demon. Not by blood. He called to Vainglory, the pure white pup followed as closely as he could.

But they had been welcomed into the fold. Just as Chernobyl had been and others since her. He, like Rayn and others did not care about the mud, more so than others he didn't care if it coated his entire body and encased him in it. The twin feathers that lay against his ear floated as he hoped through the puddles. He had best get to Rayn before the demons passed their judgement of him. After all, that was his job! He arrives on the tail winds of Lillith's scent and a smile slowly creases the side of his face and Vain turns his head to look up at his father. Unlike Paldor the little pup held a bit more reserve for puddle jumping. Staying close to his fathers side but not close enough to get splashed or anything, he was slowly learning how to keep free of the puddles and such that trapped pups within their mire. "That's enough Lillith, that's now how you welcome a guest into your house is it?" he says pulling himself close to the female but far enough away that was designed by rank. Though they where on the same playing feild for the most part rank wise, the Stygian could have ripped off his head if she wanted to.

Vainglory looked at the silver and gold male that stood before his father and the black and red woman, he didn't know who she was other than the name his father had given her, he smiles though, a loose and some what cocky grin as he looks up to his father. He is silent though for he knows that one word spoken out of turn would earn him a one way trip into a puddle. Paldor knew his son's weakness's already and wouldn't use physical control of them, but the fear that lay hidden below to guide them to a proper respectful life within the demon pack. He didn't posture in front of Rayn the way Lillith did though, he never postures and varry rarely demands a show of rank from himself even with insolent members of their pack. "Lillith didn't you ever learn about closed off societies? and how they died because there wasn't enough fresh blood to go around? they tend to rot and die out before their time to shine can even be perfected." His voice is dull, unamused really, his pale pupil-less white eyes stare through Lillith.

"I'm glad you came here Rayn," he says cooly to the male turning his head breifly to give the other a nod of greeting and then he turns quickly to Lillith "that's his name just so you know, and he's here cause I invited him," he says to her with a smile that rarely graces his features. "This is Rayn, Rayn this is Lillith, and this little chap is Vainglory. My son. We're good on the intro now right?" Vainglory puffs up his chest and though he hides behind Paldor's arm he leans forward and gives a quick smirk and a nod of his head to Lillith "Pleasure's all mine miss" he says his pale white eyes are pupil-less like Paldors but their rimmed in deep violet that fades to a lighter shade and then white covers the pupil area. Their there, just hidden.
