PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Your grace is wasted in your face

OOC: sorry for the crappy post D: I have like no creativity right now lol

your boldness stands alone among the wreck;
now learn from your mother or else spend your days biting your own neck

Her breath had slowed to a normal pace by now, but at this point her muscles were telling the mare exactly what they thought of the journey. "Ah," she muttered, adjusting her weight a bit to find a more comfortable position. Standing wasn’t helping; she took a few steps and found that movement stretched her legs and softened the tense and tired muscles. "Could we walk?" she asked. "My legs aren’t ready to quiet down yet." She gave a small smile, half with remaining triumph for her accomplishment of the climb and half to cover up the aches that gradually grew louder with every second she remained unmoving.

The view was indeed better on this side of the mountain. Hemlock wondered what the rest of the great rock was like, and promised herself she’d explore it as soon as possible, assuming she would stay here. She liked the thought of the place; secluded and alone, but not lonely. Safe. She knew that certainly there were men out there who were fair and perhaps even pleasant to live with, but she had no wish to go through each and every brute just to achieve happiness. She would find it on her own, and she would not need a man to benefit fully from life.

"I’d like to meet any others who live here," she said. She knew very little about the peak, other than its lack of testosterone. Perhaps speaking with others who lived here would give her some insight to the place. Never before had she heard of mares living without stallions, and the idea intrigued and excited her. "I’m curious as to what I might have to do to stay here; I like the idea of such independence."
