At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

It was refreshing to find someone as energetic as herself, someone that didn’t shy away from her forward personality. In fact he was more energetic than she was and it seemed that he had never faced the hardships of the world. Dib had, right from being born, but unlike others she didn’t let it stop her. She was the adventurous spirit she always had been, but she knew how to control it and adapt to fit others. Not having to decipher another and fit her personality with them was something she craved for. She found it in Markus, but he had been lying low for months, and now she had Mezic. She would make sure to hang onto this one, he was a keeper. ’I’m glad I can talk around you. My pack seems to ignore me whenever I try to speak. I think I’m going to try and find a new pack, one that hopefully won’t ignore me whenever I try to talk.’ The once happy expression that had been plastered all over the lad’s bodice faded, his tail dropping in reaction to his lyrics. The rust coloured teen watched intently allowing a tender smile to form on her kissers hoping to cheer him up. It then seemed that it was her turn to be in the hot seat. ’Are you okay though? You seemed sad a minute ago? Is everything ok?’ The teen smiled once again, though the words were slightly personal they weren’t overly intrusive and so she would answer without judgement. ”Well I could ask you the same thing.” She chuckled slightly with her words. ”You weren’t such a happy bunny yourself.” Dib gazed at the boy her eyes sparkling somewhat in the sun. ”To answer your question, yes I am fine. I was just thinking about family that is all. It’s good to have memories though, even if they do sometimes bring you unwanted emotions.” A reassuring mask fell on the girl’s face. She truly was okay, it would take a lot more than that to bring her down- something she was yet to experience. Even though her father and most of her siblings were gone, she had took it within her stride and she knew that one day they would return. The sun shone down on the pair sat by the river warming their rust tinted fur. Feeling utterly relaxed in the presence of Mezic and the aura of the lake, Dib stretched out her front legs, raking her claws along the floor. Her body stretched out on the sun kissed floor, her stomach pressed against it. Once lying down the lass let a yawn escape from her jaws, serenity washing over her body like a wave. Slowly the femme turned her head towards the brute her green gaze falling on him warmly. ”So tell me about yourself Mezic. Have you been in Blossom long? I don’t mean to pry it’s just... Well...” She paused slightly, her tail beating against the floor. ”I have never met anyone like you before. It’s... Refreshing.” Her words were sweet and calm laced with a slight truth and questioning tone. It would be nice to find out anything she could about this male and maybe help him to grow along the way. Dib herself still had a lot of learning and growing to do so maybe the two could help each other. The lass was in need of some more friends and she could tell already that Mezic, no matter how naive he was, would make an amazing and excitable friend. |
