The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Cade needed a breather. One would think that her tendency to disappear would cause her to stick close to other members of Andere to prevent her from wandering, but alas, Cade wanted space. she wanted somewhere quiet to think and consider her options. She had to find a way to return balance to her family and prevent the hierarchy of the rankings from collapsing in on itself with an internal struggle within the pack. In short, Cade was rather confused about her feelings toward her mother's return and what it all meant for the future. She had never expected her mother's crimson and ivory visage to miraculously appear from nowhere and decide that she wished to return home. In her wanderings, Cade had looked for signs of any of the other Satanicans who seemed to vanish one by one. It was so unlike them given the tight knit family they were. When she gave up on her idea of finding anyone else, she returned to Andere, usually greeted by her upset brother. Her last outing had been particularly long and caused a deeper rift between herself and Quirino. Seline returning instead of Cade finding her just put that much more strain on Cade's relationships with Quirino, Eric, and, of course, Seline herself.

It was thus, after Cade had slipped away to pace in a copse of trees near the western border of Andere, that she heard what sounded like an animal insanely crashing through the brush. Curious, for Cade was ever the curious one, she waited a moment, expecting some wild-eyed deer or boar to stampede through, but nothing of the sort came. Considering the possibilities, she decided that while it may not be safe to approach something that had made such a noisy entrance, she was the alphess of this land and it was her duty to do reckless things like investigate a potentially dangerous situation at the edge of her border. It wasn't like there was anyone else around to tell her otherwise and she was a stubborn, hard-headed lass who would have ignored anyone's advice, perhaps even her mother's. With a slight air of caution, Cade crept towards the edge of the trees and straightened herself to her full height to peek over some low hedges. The sight on the other side made her loose a bark of laughter before stepping through. Her crimson toes landed a few feet from the ridiculously messy wolf as her mismatched gaze tried to size him up. The task proved difficult given the debris that stuck to him. She could spot blood on him in a few places where the dirt hadn't covered it and the idle thought that she couldn't determine if it was his or another's crossed her mind. It didn't particularly worry her though. She had plenty of blood thirsty fiends who lived with her, one more couldn't be trouble, right?

Having finished a precursory look over, Cade's lips parted, her crimson maw allowing her words to spill out with evidence of mirth and wonder imbued in them. Her voice was soft but authoritative and her stance held her rank within its posture though she doubted she needed to truly exert her ranking over him since he seemed so pained. Her eyes latched onto his, a slight power play so he knew he was at her mercy. For though he hadn't crossed her borders, it was obvious to her that he would have no chance against her should he turn tail and attempt to run.

"And where might you have been traveling before you...tripped, I presume. Andere has a tendency to protect itself against intruders, even without my help."
