Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Geez, anyone have a wake up pill? I call out again for Baylee and Vega, pacing anxiously outside their dens. They know I won't leave for the hunt without them, or rather, they should know. I'm sure Katsumi is getting impatient by now and truth be told, I'm looking forward to my first hunt. As long as she picks a nice grassy area, that is. I don't want to think about the dust. Shaking my head of such thoughts, I peek my head into Baylee's den, blinking my eyes a few times as they adjust to the dimmer lighting.

"Baylee?"

I call out softly before venturing in. I can't find her but maybe she's further back in the den. Giving it up for now, I sigh and go to Vega's den next. She's sleeping peacefully so I nudge at her form gently. I always find myself softening a little around the female. You would think I'd be more careful with Baylee cause she lost both her parents but we didn't really have a lot of time to bond growing up. Vega and I had that moment in the den when she was crying and I sang for her in the first language. She still has her father and she's been spending more time with him lately. Yes, I've noticed, color me jealous. Nudging her sleeping form again, I whisper silkily.

"Expergiscere, & illud tempus venatione."
(Wake up, it's hunting time.)

I know that she likes hearing the first language, even if she can't fully understand it. I wouldn't mind teaching her, sometime. I'd even teach Baylee if she could stop by every once in a while to see me. I am like her half brother, you know. She went and stole mom's heart first, even got dad to carry her before I was born, but hey, I came in and stole the show. Can't really blame them for calling me perfect. I'm not saying Baylee's not pretty. She's got her own charm, but hey, no one can be me and that's just the way it is. I move back, giving Vega plenty of room to wake up before I glance anxiously toward the entrance. The sun is starting to come up. We really must be leaving. I turn and pace back out of the den, shaking my head as I turn my skull back up to the sky, calling again for Baylee and even for Vega. Hurry up, there's hunting to be done!
