News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
I fell in love with a shooting star
IP: 24.27.96.14

Starfall huffed at his father's reply. Typical. He doesn't understand. The dark boy didn't know how to tell his father that sleeping for himself was not as it was for Guardian. No, it was very different than Azrael's own sleep. Well, at least that is what Starfall thought. Dreams were much like the real world, and he was very much lucid and conscience during the whole experience, unlike many others. It is so intense, so real to Starfall that the differences were not obviously apparent. Well, they were, for strange things tended to happen in the dreams, but since he grew up thinking they were all in the same, it just felt like reality enjoyed twisting itself at even intervals. Starfall's nose wrinkled, voice irritated as he replied.

"It is not the same as it is for you, Mother tells me so and I know so. I do not sleep for I am always awake...and you will just...never understand!" he shouted moodily. Of course, Starfall was still happy to hear that his father was willing to beat up that mean tree. He was still a pup, easily distracted in many ways and the prospect of punishing a wicked offender was too much to push aside. He had walked over and sat by the tree, telling Azrael of what needed to be done. It was a little...vague. Starfall didn't know how to punish the tree, he just knew it should be. His wildly beautiful eyes stared up at Azrael as he spoke, of how justice would be served. This made his star-touched tail wag a bit behind him as he nodded seriously, and yet, with a little smile on his lips.

Starfall puffed out his chest as he stood beside his father, watching him carefully as he decided what to do to this evil offender. What was he going to do? Starfall had tried to bite it, and well, that didn't work out. The tree was strong, impervious to bites from a puppy. Starfall had an inquisitive look on his rather handsome features as Azrael reared back. Starfall took a step back himself in the snow, making sure to stay out of his father's way while he attacked. Azrael was large, much larger than Starfall and he watched in awe as his father raked the tree with his claws. An excited grin grew on his smile, his tail wagging even faster now. The dark boy fell into a play bow, growling softly at the tree offender. Yeah! That is exactly what the tree needed. Starfall felt the energy in his body, in his bones as he watched the tree get ruined by his father. His blood was boiling with the want to join in, to punish with his father.

Yeah, he was going to get it too. The black boy moved on his long and rather awkward limbs, inching closer with a lust for violence in his eyes. His puppy teeth were exposed, his growl growing deeper with each day he lived on this earth. Right when he was about to pounce, his father returned to the earth. Starfall heard the noise of the tree, but it didn't occur to him that there might be danger. It was just...the tree taunting him again. This made Starfall's growl grow louder, ignoring the obscenities his father yelled out. The young boy leaps forward, mouth open wide to take down the tree, and right at that moment Azrael grabs onto his ruff. Starfall yelped in protest, felling jerked back by his father. Initially, he wiggled, freeing himself for Azrael's jaws, but he then saw why Azrael did what he did. Starfall's ears perked up, his angel mark in full view on his back from lifted hackles. He stood tall and on alert as his opal eyes watched the tree fall into defeat with the snow. Starfall snorted with pleasure, and raced forward in the snow towards the now fallen tree.

"Cool!"

Starfall hardly listened as Azrael told him not to tell mother. Really? Why would he not tell mother? Father had defeated the mean tree who made fun of him. Either way, the boy jumped on the fallen tree, landing with...relative grace upon the dead body.

"Ha! That'll show you!" he commanded, a source of pride swelling in his voice as he proceeded to...well, defile the tree with his wet scent. Once Starfall was finished, he jumped back over to Azrael, excitement and happiness in his eyes as he gazed up at him.

"Dad, you are the best. You showed that tree. Once I am as big as you, we can take down all the trees that make fun of us, together!" he exclaimed, a brightness in his hazed over eyes. Azrael, though frustrating before, had shown Starfall that he was willing to work with him. That meant a lot to the little puppy...even if Azrael didn't seem to understand why he was doing what he was doing.
