At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Too long had the crimson stained male been away from home. Guilt plagued him, consumed him now more than ever. Just when he told Moth he wouldn't be taking anymore trips another comes about, always the same thing getting in the way of his new life, the one he chose rather than the one he got in to through birth. Along his travels the devil thought quite alot and after alot of consideration he decided to turn in his cloak and break ties with the Demonica clan. It would be the best thing for his family, his children, he couldn't deal with not seeing Moths for weeks on end and even though she accepted it and never held a grudge each time he returned he knew it hurt her each time he left. His children would eventually hold it against him if he continued so naturally it seemed the best thing all round. But just when he was prepared to dish out the news, break away from his blood relatives and finally be free of their domineering ways, promotion was thrust upon him giving him little space to refuse it.

Blood Titan had stepped down and done exactly what Lucas had set out to do originally. It was only a matter of time, afterall.. Titan had spent more time away from his family than Lucas had his. The male saw the strain it put on Akina and how she struggled without him. While Titan was away, Lucas would call in and make sure she was okay, take care of anything she couldn't handle herself just like Titan would have done if he had been there. He knew she appreciated his concern and care for her wellbeing but he wasn't Titan and nothing he did or said could ease the absence of his cousin. Taking it upon himself to do so, Lucas kept a close eye on Hachiko more than the others. The young male had grown to be quite the charmer with a little help from his uncle, ofcourse. Hell, he had even won the heart of Saw Tooths very own princess. The thought of Nova caused Lucas to roll his eyes. The two had never gotten along and at times he wanted to remind the young mistress that he had been there and protected her mother more than Foal'an had. He always stayed quite, he knew she was too stubborn and passing a comment like that would only start shit in Saw Tooth and he really didn't need that.

The road home was a long one but Lucas chose to steady his pace and rest when it suited him rather than push himself unneccesarily. Yes he missed Moth and the contagious smiles of his sons and daughter but he would be home soon enough. Dark skies were beginning to form overhead and brought promise of a storm that was much needed, the days had been too damn hot for the scarlet and brown males liking. Saw Tooth wasn't much further, perhaps a couple of hours if he kept on at the pace he was going without chosing to rest out the storm. No, that would be a bad idea and the thought of seeing his family was too fresh in his mind to wait much longer. He figured if he was going to continue he would need to drink first. He was hungry but that could wait a while, aslong as he kept himself hydrated he would be fine.

Crossing a familiar and scenic path, Lucas is soon setting his blue gaze on Leisure Lake. He had been here several times with Moth when they needed some "alone" time. Families were always scatted about the lush green surface close to the water so they had chance to cool off and pups could play without threat, it had always stood out to the male. He reaches the bank and notes the still, clear surface momentarily. Hell, he barely looked like he had aged a day. His muscles still noticably stood out about his torso. He wasn't a large wolf by any means so the muscle he did have could be seen easily. His thick cloak stained with that scarlet signature appeared glossy and well taken care of without little work on his part. Hell, the more he looked the more he came to conclude Moth would indeed be happy to see him.

He leans down, somewhat crouched preparing to quench his thirst when a familiar scent has him lifting his head abruptly. He sniffs and throws his crown in direction of where the scent is coming from. Titan. In a flash, the muscular soldier is darting off in that direction. Silently he wonders what his cousin is doing out here and not at home. Had the news of Sins passing got to him to the point where he needed some time to himself? Surely Akina will be grieving, he wouldn't leave her back there to deal with it herself, surely? Soon enough Titans black and crimson form comes in to view. He looks agitated, bothered by something and Lucas can only presume that he's found out about Sin.

Easing off his pace, Lucas trots over there casually. It had been a long time since he had seen him and yet he goes to greet him like it was yesterday, no formalities whatsoever.

"Didn't expect to see you around here, how's it goin?"

Lucas stares him out awaiting a reaction of some sort but still Titan looks different to the last time he saw him. With a sigh, the male drops his gaze to the ground.

".. I'm guessing you've heard then. Man, i'm sorry, must be tough for ya right now."

Ofcourse Lucas was referring to Sins passing which no doubt was a difficult time for everyone in the pack, especially Titans mate who had been best friends with the previous alpha. After that he stays quiet awaiting a reply but knowing there isn't much he can do to help. The grieving process, everyone goes through it at some stage in their life.
