She's holding her breath, because her fragile and unstable mind does not know what to expect. Will he turn away from her in disgust, or will he feel pity for her. Will he feel sorry for her because of what had happened to her. The thought made her angry, made her want to tear into flesh and draw a river of crimson. But none such thought was revealed as she continued to stare up at him, for it was all she could do. She remained beneath him, pinned with his heavier bulk, but she did not complain. She did not want him to move, to let her up. The simple thought brought a terrible tugging, almost tearing sensation to her chest. To hell with that. But at the same time, there's the pressure of Niko leaning down into her, his skull snuggled along side her neck, in a rather protective and caring embrace of sorts. It's enough to make her entire frame tremble beneath him, regardless of how she may try to diminish it. After Llorana speaks to him, telling him of the past- she braces herself. But no pity nor absence comes. Instead, the dark prince is tensing against her, and she can feel his frame shift enough to know his hackles are more than a little raised. He's pissed, she can tell, as she knows him well, and she wonders curiously at this. Pissed at her, or pissed at the past? Pissed that she was taken from him for such a.. pety reason- or even perhaps pissed at those that did what they did to her. The latter is too hopeful to her mind.

And then he's pulling away, and another, terrible, pathetic whine threatens to spill past her lips. But she chokes it back, completely and utterly unwilling to allow him to see her reaction to his rejection. But just as quickly as he had begun to, he's then back, pushing back against her, close once again and calming those frantic nerves within her breast. Niko's nuzzling her, burying his muzzle against her shoulder and she returns the favour, leaning up as much as she could to slide her muzzle along his neck. He's lovely, intoxicating, enchanting, all in one. His scent is mind consuming, and something Llorana will never cease to recall even to the end of her days. And he's pulling back once again, but only his neck so he could gaze down upon her. Slowly, her deep sapphire are turned to his own azure, holding them boldly, strongly, as she had done so many times in the past. You are not nothing. They are nothing. They are lower than dirt, lower than worms, ower than grime. You.. are everything. His words are strong, as well as powerful. Most of their interaction had always been playful, teasing- nothing compared to this serious, intense scene unfolding between them. It's enough to catch her breath in her throat, though her eyes do not leave his. They cannot.

He is all he truly was born to be in these moments. Ferocious. Passionate. Intense. Full of wrath and a protective streak. Yes, this is the Niko Llorana has known since he was very young. This is her very first friend, someone who's side she had never intended to leave. And yet she had. Granted it was not her fault- but she had left, and he had found what he needed in that girl. That pale girl with the golden starburst upon her brow. The sudden reminder has her grinding her teeth, but she wants to forget. He spoke his words to her, Niko never did, and would not lie to her. Would he? She held faith in him, and so refused to see it any other way. And his touch- it's burning and calming, his nuzzles caressing her and making her feel at home, making her feel as she once did; a very long time ago. Niko was what she needed- wanted, but she knew, in the deepest part of her black heart, that she was not what he wanted. But she shoved it out of mind. She could enjoy what time she had with him, now, before things went bad. She would have her Niko for as long as she could, before he was snatched from her just as she had been from him.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry I haven't been here. I'm sorry I couldn't help you when you needed it. I'm sorry I couldn't be here. Llorana bites her tongue, for she knows her mind is aching to ramble, to express every last detail of emotion to him. She has a war raging inside of her, and the part that used to be, that Niko had known, is winning out. He brings it out in her, and a passing thought has the alabaster girl frantic. If he leaves- if he's gone, will that be gone as well? That part of her that she was once, or will what she is now- this cold, callous, thoughtless thing going to be all she is? Shaking her head very slightly, as if to clear her thoughts, she focuses on the boy above her, the boy with her- the boy pushed up against her and making her feel so safe, so at home. I'm not leaving. I'm not leaving ever again. Even if they come back- I'd tear out all their throats, or die trying, than leave you again. You are everything. She repeated his words back up at him, her deep gaze never leaving his. She meant every damn word, and she'd be damned if he did not take her seriously, or if he did not believe her. She had never lied to him, and she did not plan on starting now.
