At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

A warm breeze ruffled rust coloured fur, the young lass taking a deep breath in and releasing a content sigh. With the beautiful weather and the glorious company what more could she ask for? A harmonious hum beat through the undergrowth causing the vixen’s auds to flicker when she wasn’t listening to her new companion. She had already grasped that the boy wasn’t best suited to social situations, his boundless energy causing problems for him; much like it did for her. Luckily being the only heir that stuck around she had spent a lot of precious learning time with her mother and had spent weeks learning correct etiquette for different situations. She hadn’t though it then, but it really did help her fit in where her disability would usually not allow it. The lass had become a master of controlling her excitable and adventurous personality when in the presence of older and calmer wolves and took advantage of any and every situation where she could let her personality shine through. She wasn’t exactly changing, she was simply keeping tabs on traits that could hinder a conversation. He agreed with her statement about emotions sparking up another bubble of interest in the varg. So he too had memories that brought up unwanted emotions? The pair had more in common than she thought.

’Well Dib, I left my family when I was a pup, only a few weeks old. I…didn’t get along with my family, and things weren’t…good at home.’ Slowly the lass pushed her bodice up off the ground returning to a sitting position so that her gaze could fall onto his. The smile that had once been plastered over her kissers faded slightly as the brute stuttered his words. It was clearly a difficult subject to bring up and it seemed that was all she would get out of him for now. A sympathetic mask fell on the vixen’s features. She knew how hard it could be to talk about the past but that was exactly what it was past. ”It’s okay you don’t have to say anymore.” She shuffled a little closer to the male. ”The past is exactly that, past. It helps define who we are but the future is what we make it and what we must concentrate on.” Mezic then spoke again, though these lyrics were the happier tones she was used to. ’But then I found Blossom. I’ve only been here for a few weeks, still trying to find the right pack for me. I’ve decided to leave Andere Seite, going to try for a different pack that could suite me better. You’re the first person I’ve found that I could consider a friend.’ Her chest puffed out slightly at his words, feeling content with the thought of building a new friendship. ”Well welcome to Blossom Forest Mezic. As your friend and longer standing resident I will take great pleasure in showing you a few of the sights.” She shook out her fur still holding the proud emotion bestowed on her earlier. ”If you want that is?” A small chuckle was released at her own words.

Her emerald gaze followed the male as he stood obviously uncomfortable in the heat. For a moment the teens ears flattened against her head. He wasn’t going already? Her gaze gradually began to fall to her paws; ’Wanna go for a quick swim? I don’t know about you but it’s hot out here.’ Her cranium snapped upwards, a smile growing on her kissers at the thought that he wasn’t leaving her. Dib’s tail proceeded to follow suit and she giggled at the ridiculous grin held on his face. The teen stood slowly as the brute raced towards the water stumbling a little on the damp pebbles. Mezic pounced gracefully into the water, droplets flying everywhere as he collided with the liquid. Only when he resurfaced and vocalised for her to join him did the lass wobble towards the water. Though she only had three useful limbs, she could just about doggy paddle. Gradually the russet ess reached the water, her bodice trembling as the cold wrapped its icy fingers round her limbs. She left the safety of the bank, slowly paddling towards the male. This would definitely be an experience.
