Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The pack had seemed to die with Ambrosia off taking the challenge and Tamlin totally M.I.A. It made me sad to see the life slowly draining out of this pack, especially since I had seen it so alive and well before. To top it all off, I hadn't seen a familiar face since Blaze when we welcomed the new girl. It was, admittedly, quite depressing.

I decided to run boarder patrol to waste the time away, though the sun beat down relentlessly upon my thick pelt. It's days like this that I'm glad for the fact that my coat was so light in color. It would be so much worse if I had not only thick, but also ebony hairs covering my bodice. My pace quickened, raising to a steady lope as I trekked across the path I knew so well. About half way through my circuit, a familiar old scent tickled my nostrils. An elated grin spread onto my face as I poured on the speed.

I was to him in no time at all, finding Blaze also there to greet the lad. Oh, how he had grown. He wasn't the lanky little awkward teen I had welcomed into my home. And, boy, was I glad to have him back. I remembered how Blaze had had a crush on him and wondered if those feelings still existed. But I wasn't about to let some puppy love get in the way of me greeting the boy I'd come to view as my little brother. Seoras! You're back! It hasn't been the same here without you. I stopped just in front of his collapsed, tired form. My skull dipped down to touch his shoulder, gently nuzzling the boy. I offered Blaze a grin, as well, before lowering my haunches to the ground a few feet from Seoras. I couldn't wait to hear what he had to say.

words.
