The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Darkness. It engulfs him, envelops him. Silence comes with it in the deep dark of the cave. The beast is invisible, hidden within the shadows of it all. Secrets of his own are being withheld. He can feel it, the tendrils of darkness seeping into his fur deep down into his pores. For now he would avoid those who had come to believe he was their friend, their companion. He was growing bored with the pack life, rarely speaking to all and any. Saliva drips from his powerful jaws along with the blood his recent kill. He can feel it inside him, digesting, disintegrating. He was a murderer, a bloodthirsty beast that would eat his own heart if it were allowed and he were hungry enough.

He stands there, in the midst of the darkest part of the cave, avoiding any hints of light from the entrance that remains so far away. He has yet to think of things, yet to remember what is pointless to remember. No, he has not thought about that night under the stars within the shade of the stones. There was no reason to, no meaning to it all. Until that scent came. His eyes flash open, aroma’s of old entering his nares as he inhales deeply. It is her. Toxics enter his system with each breath he takes. He can feel her poison setting into his blood stream. She corrupts him, brings out the very beast he meditates to hide.

Snarls are heard and he flicks an ear towards the entrance. She is here. A disturbing smile reaches his onyx lips and his canines flash within the dark. Round two? The beast stretches, turning his body to face the fading light of the doorway to hell. “Have you come to play, my dear?” His baritone chords bounce off of the dark, damp walls of the cavern, echoing through the darkness to where she may be. Come down into the deep dark of the unknown and face him Carnival. Perhaps this could become fun once again.
