During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

There it was at last. The scent of another finally approaching. Only, this was no random other, no random stranger. With the masculine scent, the named 'Ala Noche' came slamming back within Miya's mind. She had not forgotten the boy, oh no- but she had never expected to see him again. She'd never once scented him around Blossom Forest, or seen him for that matter. And yet here he was, now, out of all places, upon the very soil they had first met. It seemed that Fate had an interesting sense of humor, being that the silver phantom happened to meet most of those who stuck with her at this very place. She almost resisted glancing back over her shoulder at his approach, but she knew him, this gray and ivory boy. And so she did just that, her silver cienna accented gaze watching silently as she came up beside her. He had changed, but only slightly so. He was more mature, more filled out to his adult status. His coat and markings remained the same- but the gleam in his gaze told her stories of something darker. Something evolving inside the boy that had not been there before. His reaction to the new scent markers was much the same as hers, and this brought the first inkling of a smile to her pale lips.

Hello there stranger, name's Ala Noche; what's yours? She could not help the full fledged smile that crept it's way across her jaw. So he remembered her, and he seemed rather happy about it; his teasing tones spoke eons to her. The darkness that had been ever present within her breast lifted, if only very slightly, at the simple memory as well as presence of Ala Noche. He was someone she had known during her own internal struggles, a time when light had won out darkness. Perhaps she could accomplish such all over again, but she had to get herself there first. Tilting her silver toned jaw at an angle, her ever bright irises gazed upon him for a moment, before her usual monotone yet colourful voiced slipped forth. "Fancy finding you here, Noche." She had never quite dubbed him a nickname as he had so offered her, but now, if felt right to simply call him 'Noche.' "It's been awhile." As silent as she had been before, it's disrupted completely by her speech to him now. She wants to speak with him- she wants to remind him of things that once were. She wants them to become apart of Munashii again, only this time, together.

And then a sudden thought comes upon her- perhaps he was not here to stay, but merely to visit? To scope things out? See what is left of something that once was? With only the breath of a pause after her last statement, she's once again speaking- actually relishing in the fact that she feels rather comfortable around the boy. She had felt such in their very first meeting, but that had been rather expected of two pack members. Now, what were they? Simple loners upon the border of their used to be home. What would become of them? "Are you here to stay, or are you just passing through? Where've you been, in the meantime?" Her usual, characteristic curiosity and invasion of personal space was brewing dangerously close to the surface. It was Noche who brought such a thing back up in her, and she did not know whether to be resentful or grateful for it. It was a good thing, wasn't it, to feel one's old self again? To not remain so closed off and cold hearted? Miya did not know for sure, but with a practiced patience, she simply gazed upon the silvery alabaster male, wondering just how he'd react to her, and if he would give her what she asked for.

[o o c : It's quite alright! I don't mind one bit. Gives me a chance to write her out and hopefully gets other peeps interested in the thread here! x3 ]
