Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Tsk tsk, he would have never have guessed she would have become so damn bitter. Well, admittedly, it was probably all too easy to become bitter when living in a place full of insufferable egos - he could not blame her in that regard at least. Still, she had been so full of fire and life when he had first stumbled upon her and yet now she was simply quiet, an irritable ball of silence. Perhaps Diveen sustained their life by sucking it out of their recruits, luring them in with promises of glitz and glamour only to have themselves turned into zombies. He could have done that for her - he could have made her sit around in the mists all day and night but, then again, at least Iromar had alligators to fight instead of egos, no? He chuckled when she stiffened at his subtle threat of challenge - a brow cocking as he leaned towards her stiffly.

"Maybe the loyal servant of Diveen - the great Khaleesi - can protect the pack from me."

He was cruel, perhaps, senselessly so and yet he could not help but feel it was not misplaced. After all, he had been quite fond of the girl when he had first met her, sure she would rise (and fast) become something brilliant - he had considered her a potential Beta, or perhaps a Commander of sorts. Now she was but another wolf belonging to a pack he did not so much care for - the only true thing that kept him from being utterly apathetic from Diveen was the presence of Vidar there, and the possibility of them one day executing a vast majority of his family. Let them take Ruvindra, Vague, little Ska and whoever else so long as they did not touch his Caligula or their children, he figured. Oh well - he shrugged, making his best effort to remain as apparently apathetic as ever as he continued his slow journey, not all that surprised that her ego had forced her to follow. He'd take Iromar if he had the chance, truth be told, but it was certainly not his... preference. He did not want his family to grow up as failure prone as his own mother, and he certainly did not want their beauty obscured. They were born to shine as far as he was concerned.

"Or perhaps they are biding their time - perhaps they wish for you all to feel accomplished, to feel as if you have frightened them off. Perhaps they train, they hone their skills. Do you not learn tactics in your training, girl? Tsk, tsk, wasn't it you who accused my wretched little sister of being brainwashed? Hm, makes it think does it not?"

He laughed again, the sound eradicating his pain slowly with each bout. Oh such fun to torment the girl, to fill her mind with such questions. He even saw her strut, her ego apparently inflated by her own words - such confidence would have been admired if he was not so adamant on making her feel some tiny merit of the pain he felt at that point (oh indeed, his own ego ached with his failure.) Her next words silenced him, and he lunged forward suddenly, bypassing the ripple of pain as he snapped his teeth some inches away from her face. A mock charge, though he hummed to himself after, his tail swishing cheerfully behind him.

"You know, I cannot shake the feeling that I will be most fine without Diveen's aid. Do you think Diveen would like me to survive? Am I not oh so tainted by the blood of my mother as your beloved Master put it?"

He stopped then, lifting his paw up to lap at the blood that had run down from his chest all while keeping an eye on the girl. Even as he groomed himself, his features remained vivid with a smug grin, his eyes narrowed in quiet observation.

"Is that what you have done? Have you struck a deal with Diveen to help yourself survive?

Oh come on, he wouldn't tell a soul if she were to spill a secret or three.
