During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

Serris had sent Aindreas a glance and released the quietest of noises before approaching the faeling. Words were spoken, and then the two merely inspected each other. Serris glanced back at Aindreas once more before addressing the fae once more. Just before he did so, the faeling herself let her golds fall upon him. The snowy titan brought his arctics to lay upon her, returning the stare until she turned her gaze back to Serris. I’m fresh out of crowns, princess, so I guess you’ll just have to settle for the throne. The fae grinned but then sighed, responding in kind. No crowns? Then the throne it is, hand it over. Serris continued the conversation with introductions. I am Serris, ruler of these lands. I must say I am quite impressed with you, being a lady of your age and stature. Tell me, what so possessed you to seek this tyrant as your leader? Aindreas smirked, and had he been a different wolf he would have likely let loose a laugh. Serris was no tyrant, merely a fair and… well there were no words that came to Aindreas’ mind that adequately described his Lord. The fae, too, seemed to know that he was no tyrant. Oh, I know who you are, sir. May I ask, though, why it is you’re impressed with little ol’ me? Well, you see Serris, I honestly have no clue whatsoever as to why I’ve come here to you. Aindreas cocked his head, interested as to her presence now. She, herself, had admitted that she had no idea why she was here… how would Serris take it?

Those are always the best. His words were softly spoken to no one, and yet he soon after admitted her into the pack. Well, I suppose you should start looking before you become an old man like me. The Lord than turned and invited her to cross the boundary. Still, Aindreas kept his own kissers shut, choosing silence. There was no need for him to speak, no words that needed to be uttered. Instead he simply laid his arctics upon the faeling and dipped his head. The simple motion could mean many things. ‘Congratulations.’ ‘Welcome to the pack.’ ‘I’m keeping an eye on you.’ ‘Goodbye.’ Without the words to accompany, it was left up to Eris to figure out what he meant.

But it was obvious that his presence was no longer needed at the boundary, so the snowy titan turned his gaze away, setting it on the innards of the packlands. Arctics turned backward to Serris, a smile laying upon his kissers, and his head dipped once more. This time, it was clearly a farewell. His haunches pushed downward, raising his rear end off of the ground, and then propelled his bodice forward slowly at a walk away from the boundary. But then he paused, remembering the look that Serris had previously given him. Once more, the titan glanced backward, and sat upon the earth. If his leader wanted to speak with him, Aindreas would respectfully wait for him.

As his still form stayed upon the earth, his mind drifted to Genisys, the white femme who so controlled his form. She had walked away… her brother clearly did not like Aindreas. But would she leave? Would she leave her brother, and the pack? Or would she stay? Even the thought of Genisys leaving made the titan feel weak in his knees, which made resentment grow. He had been taught to be a strong wolf, an emotionless wolf, and had learned that everyone would leave him eventually. Why should she stay? Why would she stay? Not for him. Maybe for her brother’s sake, but not for him. Why did his form crumble before her? It was frustrating and aggravating, for he felt as if who he was was disappearing into nothingness.
