Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Emerald portals scanned the terrain around her. The pads of her paws made a soft noise, not anything too noticeable. Her long, graceful legs supported her lean body. She sat down for a moment, staring down a high precipice. Her form let out a slight shiver, wondering what it would be like to fall down that.

Her thoughts immediately flicked to her cousin. Valiantala hadn't seen her close cousin of the late, but Tala preferred to be alone, anyhow. She continued to pad up the mountain, jumping over gaps, some small and some large. No matter the size, she thought it would be dreadful to slip and fall. A sharp pain spread throughout her paw, she cursed as she sat down to inspect the pad of it. A small pebble had wormed itself into the small crevice between her main part of her paw and one of her toes. God damn, Lupus. Now, of all times? She licked around the area, eventually grabbing it with her canines. She flung the rock off the edge of the mountain, hearing it clank against the side multiple times before going too far to hear.

She glanced behind her, making sure the lass wasn't being followed. She didn't feel like company right now, and even if she did, it wasn't like she was going to make a friend. The maned wolf was almost... racist? She preferred company mostly from the same lineage as her. Valiantala only had a few friends that were not maned wolves, and even then, she preferred her cousin over them. Maned wolves weren't the most populated thing in Blossom, but Valiantala had noticed the numbers of them were starting to rise.

She continued on the move, aiming to find the large cliff her family had always gone to. It's been so long since I've seen them. She had been born here, in a stable family that all loved eachother. However, they weren't in a pack but that didn't matter. Valiantala hadn't really heard much from her family, ever. The place she was looking for was smooth stone, a few bushes here and there. Near the side of the mountain, there was a large patch of sand and dirt with a few short, stubby flowers growing. A female must have made it a birthing den at one time, but it was a cozy fit for her and she liked it there. It was on a solitary side of the mountain that overlooked Prey Plateau and the Bright Moon territory. The corners of her kissers curled into a smile as she looked over the beautiful scenery. It was so peaceful. And solitary, she liked solitary.
