Just two weeks until the 40th running of the Harvest festival Road Race , this is the longest road running event on PEI in years and we are looking to have a record number of runners take part to help celebrate this milestone , last year we had 83 runners and would like to hit the 100 mark this year so if you are up for a challenge the place to be is on route 225 in Stanchel on Saturday August 17th at 8:30 am and challenge a friend or another runner who has never did this event to come out and see what the Killer Course has to offer, we are inviting all former participant"s to come back and run if possible and if not you can always volunteer at a water station or just cheer on this years field of runners with memories of the last time or times you were running in it , anyone wanting to volunteer you can contact me 836-4124 or via this message board .
