Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

“The Dark Hunter” <33

No, no, no! What is happening? What’s wrong with me? I… felt this before! But when? The fear swelling in my chest as Camelot called the boar’s attention with barks, made all so blurry. It was hard to think knowing my love was in danger. My small paws were trembling and starting to fail to hold my body. I tried my best not to fall down and focused on a dead leaf on the ground, knowing it would help me regain balance. The whimper that escaped his muzzle made my heart ache even more and drew another whimper from my own muzzle. I would take a little to regain my balance. My ears twisted forward to hear the battle sounds as I whimpered softly to myself. The boar keeps attacking my mate and ignoring me. I didn’t want this to happen! I didn’t want Camelot to be hurt!

Bringing one paw forward to take a step, my body nearly fell sideways, but soon I adjusted myself and looked forward as the dizziness faded. My eyes falling on the hurt form of my mate who still faced the boar. It was still charging and hurting my mate. Only now I noticed Camelot’s bleeding shoulder. My mind, quick to work and trained allowed to build a quick strategy… One step forward, closer to the boar who was still facing Camelot. One growl to get it’s attention and then launching forward. It would turn directly towards me, to face me and attack again based on what I have already observed about this prey, it would expose it’s neck again for me and it would be my final move, tearing it’s throat… That was what I expected.

My teeth met their target, right it’s neck, but… As soon as I bite down it stated shaking away, managing to tear free. His skin there is rough and I didn’t quite reach it’s throat. With a shake of it’s head it not only broke free from my jaws, but hit my face too, drawing a cut just on the side of my face and under my left eye. I backed away instantly and whimpered in pain.

- I’m alright… - I replied to Camelot…

The boar was already getting weaker. It’s legs were starting to fail too and it was getting tired. I waited for Camelot to attack again, so if it turned I would be able to attack it once more. We have to finish this so I can figure out what has happened to me earlier.
