The silvery-gray shape padded through the forest; twigs and leaves crackling from his body. He cupped his paws as to try to cushion the blows, and it worked, but only a little bit. Andúin had been wanting to join the pack, he'd arrived in the forest last winter and the brute didn't know his way around. Dark blue portals peered at the territory around him, scanning and memorizing. The ghost colored wolf hadn't visited this part of Blossom yet, but he'd caught the scent of running water and figured that swimming would be good. Andúin liked the lake, but sometimes it was just too crowded. A river sounded nice.

Maybe the quiet guy had wanted a mate; maybe he hadn't. Perhaps if he wasn't feeling lonely he would have never came here. Andúin didn't have even a clue that this was Romance River, he thought the place was a normal body of water. Anyways, he had been craving fish as he had heard that the river sported delicious fish.

Hearing the soft trickling and crackling of the river, he sighed with peace. Andúin loved the sound of peaceful water like this. Dark blue pools glancing down, he saw the quick bright flash that signified sun on scales. Just as he was about to snap his neck down and try to bite into one, he heard a fish jump... or was it? He flicked his gaze to the left of him, spying a female... an especially attractive female to his eyes. His breath was taken away. The brute had never felt like this before.

Trying to sort out his thoughts, he gazed mindlessly at the moving water. Perhaps go over right now and introduce myself? No, no, that's stupid of yourself. She'll just get angry for scaring the fish. Then he realized a stupid, but easily possible plan. He crouched down slowly, as to not startle the steady trickle of salmon. His dark blue pools spotted one coming his way, never letting his sight off of it. As it reached his shadow, Andúin snapped his jaws down and brought up not one, but two fish. He proceeded to wash his muzzle in the water, hopefully scaring the fish to the other side of the river. Then Andúin would offer the lass his fish, so on and so forth.
You're a lucky bastard for catching two fish, you know. Sail would be praising you for months! His thoughts saddened for a moment as he thought about Sail, Andúin never found out what became of his sister. His head was cleared as he glanced at the female again, waiting to see what her response was to the disturbance in the water.
