The ghost listened to the musical laughter of Kahlan, a blessing to his auds. The brute nodded at her words. Yes, my parents named us all odd things. And I suppose it wasn't necessarily a bad thing I did, we wouldn't be talking right now if it weren't for it. Anduin was pleased to see the vixen accepted his offer right away, eating her salmon alongside him. It tasted quite good considering he’d been living off squirrel and rabbit for the past few months. One of the perks of being in a pack was the juicy meat of a elk or buffalo or such; Anduin had never once experienced in his life what it felt like to belong in a huge family. Perhaps the lass would run away if she ever found out about his past… He shook his head slightly, nothing too noticeable. The gray brute had thrown that past away to the wall of fog that concealed everything he knew about his childhood. He hated to remember the past. The present and future were his to change, and he was going to do so.

His maw opened to reveal slightly stained ivories, and his soft tongue leaked out to start to clean himself up. Fish were definitely one of the messier of game, what with all the scales and disgusting skin. Anduin hated the scales and skin, except for the head. The brute always gobbled up the head of a fish first. Starting to groom his pillars and make himself presentable again, his blue pools occasionally flicked up to Kahlan who was doing the same. After a while he had stopped, long silky gray locks rid of the fish. He still reeked slightly of the smell; but it didn’t bother him at the moment. The pair had grown into a comfortable silence, allowing the salmon to settle in their stomachs. It was not hard for Anduin to notice the blushing under her pelt, the same hide that Anduin had thought beautiful… The titan had seen a few wolves that looked as her, but there was something different about Kahlan in his mind. Much more beautiful than Calavass… The brute felt the silence looming down on them, threatening to break their conversation, until Kahlan spoke. What brings you to the river? Or to Blossom Forest, for that matter. Anduin sighed as he prepared to answer the question.

I’ve just arrived in the forest, so I do not know many of these places. I now see, he said, looking around, that wolves come here looking for love. That was not my intention; I just wanted a good ol’ fish. He paused, his blue portals carefully watching the yellow orbs that were on Kahlan. Do not get me wrong, however, it does not mean I do not wish for love. The brute wasn’t hinting at anything, well, perhaps he was. As for the forest… I’m in search of my two lost siblings, but I do not think they will be here. I’m not going to leave this place, it’s paradise compared to the outside world. The titan continued to look at her, waiting to see what she said. The beautiful laughter of the vixen had reached his auds again, and Anduin chuckled himself. The ghost wanted to ask a question or two of himself. I noticed a quite beautiful cliff near a mountain… It would be great if a lovely wolf like you could accompany me. Perhaps we could talk more then. Anduin hoped she would not object to the idea of traveling to the cliff together. That sounded so stupid, you idiot.
