aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Unmoglich kept a smile painted on his face, for he was happy someone wanting to join this pack. The pack was increasing quickly in size; Glitch remebered when there was only 6 wolves in the pack when they joined, including them. Him and his mate were challenging for the alpha, but they wouldn't do as good as a job as Kalgalath was.

Glitch watched as she submitted, and gave a slight nod. She then got up, and started to speak about her past. There were some familiar parts about between their stories. Like the cages, and the 2 leggers.
“But time alone all these days has made me realize that I must honor them by living and so I’ve been looking for a pack that I might be part of, that I might be useful to. I would like to belong to something again. Might this pack want me?” Lambada had finished, and Glitch had his own words to say. When did he not?

"Well," The german started, accent lacing over the quiet, comforting words. "Welcome to Aurora Borealis! Our Alpha's name is Kalgalath, he's a mixture of greys, ivories, and blacks, and has bright blue eyes. He'll accept you fully. Again, I'm only the Delta." Glitch cocked his head and smiled once again, and then put his cranium back to it's original position. "Since you told me about your past, it's only fair I tell you about mine." The young adult did not sit down to tell his story, because he would have trouble getting up.

"I lived in a zoo, where the two-leggers captured wild animals and showed them off behind enclosures, which are like cages, only bigger and with trees, grass, rocks, etc.. All kinds of enclosures are different, but they have little space compared to a forest. As a pup I was quite curious, and could fit through the bars they had blocking off our enclosure. So after the zoo had closed, I would sneak out, and accidentaly go into other enclosures. My back leg that's gone, that was from a tiger. My front paw that's gone, that was from a lion, and my only ear, now a slit, was torn off by my father. The two-leggers then sent me into the wild, and it's a surprise I'm still living. As for your pack mates, they're most likely in a zoo. You get treated like pets there. But you are more likely to live longer, because when you get hurt, two-leggers in white heal you." Unmoglich smiled once again, tilting his head so she could see the slit as the ear. "For example, they sewed up the point where my back leg got torn off, my paw, and my ear. They healed it. And no, I am not siding with them, but it shows some of them are nice." Glitch smiled and spoke one last time, for now. "Would you like a tour or..?" He smiled again, head coming back up as the mismatched eyes of his showing happiness. Unmoglich was happy to take the effort to show a new member around.

"Enjoy your life now before it changes to ash..." He advises.
